Fed Lawyer Perjury on Fed's Market Manipulation? New Information.

We all remember the testimony of the sniveling little Fed lawyer, particularly his squirming during Alan Grayson's grilling. This question, specifically, is very cut and clear, as was the response:

Grayson: "Does The Federal Reserve try to manipulate the stock market?"

Rat Lawyer: "No Sir, not that I'm aware of."

Nothing lost in translation or left to interpretation there, right? Which makes this recently publicly released information all the more damning:

Oct. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Bank of America Corp. signed off on its government-assisted purchase of Merrill Lynch & Co. after U.S. regulators assured the deal should boost the shares, e- mails from two bank finance executives showed. Instead, the shares collapsed.

"The chairman of the Federal Reserve indicated it would be structured in a manner such that BAC stock should go up when announced,” Chief Financial Officer Joe Price said in a Dec. 29 e-mail to top executives of the Charlotte, North Carolina-based bank, including Chief Executive Officer Kenneth D. Lewis.

Sadly, if I were a betting man, based on Congress' collusion with any entity screwing the public these days, I'd say this is the last we ever hear of the issue.
