You Suck!

Wow, I read a post about someone trying to bring a lawsuit against the corporation of the U S of A and he or she gets crushed in a flood of criticism for grammer and spelling and how ridiculous the idea is. It makes me pray for the NWO to come and take everyone who ridiculed the person right to the FEMA camp. I will laugh most at those of us who are supposedly awake and find the energy to destroy eachother on this site because we don't fit your standards. How far is that silver spoon stuck up you a@@! Words like that may be worthy of being banished from this site I do gather, but oh well, I am sick of the petty BS. When you have no food to eat, are you going to not take food from this person because they did not dot their I's or cross their T's? I did not think so because you are weak. If you were not weak, you would not feel so degraded by someone's proactive stance due to the fact that you have no proactive stance at all. It shows in your attacks. If you had any strength, you should be able to tell that person you don't need anything from them because they are not up to your standards gramatically, nor agree with how they choose to take action. You would be crying like a baby begging them for food because you can attack them while everything is nice and rosy around you. I have never witnessed a bigger group of caged animals in my life, than I have on here, only we cage ourselves thinking we have no options, so we attack people that have found options. It is pathetic. I am sure I have a slew of grammatical errors on this post, and I could give a -----! We do our best, if that is not good enough for you then kiss our a@@!!! you weak negative punks. Choose to ridicule and battle people who are not doing crap, which would probably just take you looking in the mirror.

Don't expect to be treated as an equal if you...

....write well.

Those that write well are intimidating to those that don't.

Those that write poorly can't understand why people are bothered by their writing "style".

Each forum has a particular persona. Mises comment lists typically don't deal with matters discussed here on DP. LRC never has poorly written topics. AJ's sites are full of "primitive language".

The ability to communicate with those you're seeking to influence is extremely important.

I am not saying it is all about a grammar thing

The R3volution requires action, not observation!!!!

some people on here plain out may as well have called the person who posted that one thread a retard, and it would have had the same effect. We all have a common goal right? If you taking a poop brings us closer to freedom, feel free to poop and tell us about it, that is what I am saying.

Some have a way with words.....

others not have way.
Mmmm cheers!

Lets start the ball rolling by

suing all the courts in the country and work our way up. Take a look at the latest Dun and Bradstreet edition and find your local courthouse, it's bound to be there. A question comes to mind ? How do you correlate needing to earn a dollar like a business that makes a profit should with unbiased justice for all. The answer is you don't. Go down to the courthouse sometime and sit through a case or two, go visit the clerk of the court and look through warrants, after all they're public record. What you will find with a modicum of understanding of the penal laws and statutes for your state is they aren't followed. From the cops all the way to the judges due process seems to be a thing of the past. Due process is the only thing that separates this country from China. Ever wonder why these cops seem to be getting away with murder, well literally they are. Wonder why we have more people in prisons (that you and I pay for! ) than any other country on the planet, wonder why we have 50% of the worlds incarcerated people, prison or parole ? If it doesn't stop then we can kiss due process and the Constitution goodbye. The bastards running these courts and jails need a good kick in the ass. If you want the traitors look there, they're the ones ruining something that doesn't belong to them....Go down sit and research, if they're breaking the law file criminal charges and civil torts it is your duty.

Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow

You know,

Sometimes I get furious, at the lack of decorum and respect afforded to members on this site.

Some people seem to think that they know everything.

I would say that we all have something to contribute.

Negative comments should be constructed in such a way to not hurt the person posting the thread.

If the poster has bad grammar or spelling, then that is beside the point.

We all know what the person meant to say.

Evaluate posts by their content, and not by their precision.

If you disagree, do so respectfully.

There is no need to correct spelling and grammar, we can all understand the message regardless of such.

Michael Nystrom has posting guidelines, and a good friend of mine whose username was GhengisKhan also spoke of the importance of respect.

See through the un-important to what is important or opportunities may be lost.

Poor grammar is the least of our worries.

Daily Paul has become a clique. Many of the old-timers who contributed quality posts have moved on due to the increasingly "National Enquirer"-like commentary. Luckily, many of the original members swapped email addresses and keep in touch. We are appalled by many of the threads here; such a lack of individual respect and common courtesy. Daily Paul is a wonderful tool yet many of the regulars treat it with contempt.

Go ahead, tell me to "not let the door hit me in the @ss" like you do to so many others.

I understand that some

I understand that some people prejudge others based on spelling/grammar. It's something to be aware of. OTOH, it isn't like the world's flooded with solutions at the moment. So when somebody offers one up I couldn't care less about how it reads, I just want to know about the idea. If it's a bad idea then I'd like to know why.

I tried to read this

but the large block of text blurred before my eyes.

Could you please rewrite this in paragraph form for those of us with less than perfect eyesight who sit at computers and get migraines?

Thanks,

Eric Hoffer

Seriously, you sound very insecure

I remember that thread

and thought it was very exciting that people were doing this. I have been here a long time and have been corrected in my spelling and grammar and have tried to improve. Please, don't be offended. You are doing a great job. Writing and spelling are important as we spread out in the internet trying to get Dr. Paul's message out we need to be able to communicate constructively. Some here can be rather blunt but if you believe in what you have to say, then they must be contented with.

I for one appreciated what you shared with us and hope you will keep us updated on how the lawsuit is going. Remember, also there are those who are trying to cause mischief and may not want us to know your information. They maybe trying to run you off. Don't take the bait, stay and share your thoughts. They are important to us.

Thanks, for posting.

I guess I'll unload here too

I kinda feel restricted to quotes or lyrics as commentary at this point.

I don't know what else I can possibly say and I don't get into the "my dog's better than your dog" arguments. I suppose I've argued a few times, I am opinionated.

If there's a "conspiracy thread", I probably landed on it, said what I had to say and beat it a long time ago.

I did what Ron Paul asked of us. I got myself out to the precinct and got myself voted executive committeeman. I'm involved up to my eyeballs in sticky stuff I'd rather not but instead now decorate one of the strongest GOP counties in the country. :)

At this point I'm feeling we're only amusing ourselves if we are not working local somehow. We have got to go local. We still have to keep an eye "on high" but seriously folks, everything is out of control "up there". You better get you some roots!!!

gotta love angry rants...it gets you doesn't it..

the truth is that some people can't spell correctly, and some don't even know what the hell spell check is. They are human, they are Americans, and they are here to work for freedom. But you can speak common sense and respect all day. There are many here who think our movement hangs on the hinges of perfect grammar and spelling, just as there are those such as bugman who thinks that people who believe in God make us look like morons. The problem isn't their thoughts, it is the fact that they have no problem expressing that ugliness towards others on a liberty sight.

The truth is, we only need 3% of the population for a true revolution, and I don't count these judgmental people part of that 3%. If you think that being divisive and calling people morons for having faith, or not spelling correctly is good for the movement, you really can't be as smart as you think you are.

Everyone here supposedly loves freedom and liberty, but a very small but vocal minority only want it for their clones. I choose to reject those that require me to become an atheist, big bang believer to get their support in my quest for freedom. People who can't respect other people aren't really here for freedom for all. They would be the first to turn on you if given the chance to advance their personal goals. They are no better than the NWO, and in fact I see them as worse than the NWO because at least we know where those people stand...which is against us. These turds on here who constantly attack others and call them morons for not believing the way they do...well they are with us until they get the chance to throw us under the bus. This movement doesn't need clones, but it certainly needs a big dose of "respect for others".

Freedom for all, or freedom for none.

Great Post!

Lol it is true - I don't usually delve into the social issues too much but I have had people foaming at the mouth when I write sensible predictions that gold and silver are going to suffer a serious correction - But there is some small satisfaction when you realize that most of these people are, as you say, "with us until they get the chance to throw us under the bus".

Calling someone a moron or idiot is one thing if they are writing something ignorant. If they are offering an opinion or advice they genuinely believe in and just want to share it, take it for what it is.

This is supposed to be a community. For those who do these ignorant things, nit-picking and loudly opposing/criticizing/belittling the honest contributors because of some sense of superiority or self-consciousness is so counter-productive to the Liberty Movement that we'd be better off if you weren't around period.

Thanks again Dalein - I wish more people on here were like you :)

Progress is precisely that which the rules and regulations did not foresee. - Ludwig Von Mises.

There is built-in spell-check on this forum.

If you are happily typing away, and one or more of your words are underlined in RED, if you right-click on the underlined word, it will give you options of properly spelling the word that you trying to convey.
But some people cannot figure that out, or refuse to use spell-check ... and you don't have to use it if you don't want to (... liberty?).

Then there is the 'Preview comment' box, which you can, and, in my opinion, SHOULD, use to see what your post is going to look like when you hit 'Post comment', (if you proof-read it before you post it and it doesn't make sense to you, it probably won't make sense to someone reading it) before you throw your comment out into cyberspace. But again, if you don't want to, you don't have to.

If a comment is worth posting, it should be worth reviewing before posting.

Just my humble opinion.

just my humble opinion..

but I think that is a lot of writing about a tool that doesn't exist. :O)

Humbly thanking you

for your humble opinion about a tool which DOES exist.

LOL.

The spell check is not built

The spell check is not built in to this forum, it's in your browser. Firefox has it but not all browsers have that function.

It is available in FireFox and Safari, but not IE.

It may be available as an add-on, and if you are inclined to trust Google not to spy on you and you are using IE you can install their tool bar which includes both spell and grammar check.

I would presume that since Google Toolbar includes the feature, Chrome would as well, but I have not verified that.

All the more reason to dump IE. (if you are allowed to - I know some people at work can't)

But even without that, there is the preview button. Once you do that, you can use IE's dictionary accelerators to check for spelling. They have several including Miriam -Webster.

I don't know if Opera includes it but I would hazard a guess it does since it is so feature packed.

That accounts for well over 99% of the browser market. This really shouldn't be a problem for anyone.

You're right, DaisyFL.

Spell-check may be only available if you are using Firefox.

I find that Firefox works best on this forum.

looking for the spell check...

I'm at the preview comment page and I see nothing here for a spell check.

Is it tool that needs to be toggled?

It is before you 'preview', while you are preparing your comment

The spell-check is available if you are using Firefox browser ... maybe not with IE or other browsers.

That explains it.

Why is it...

That people think freedom of speech means you have a right to not be criticized. You don't want to be criticized, then don't make it public. That simple. People's skin is WAY too thin in the US these days.

There is a gray area on

There is a gray area on internet forums and chat, between formal and colloquial speech. The rules are a bit looser, depending on where you post, but one should still strive for clarity.

"The United States can pay any debt it has because we can always print money to do that." — Alan Greenspan

Oh?

Let's say the Constitution was written full of grammatical and spelling errors.

What would that say about the people who wrote it? No doubt it would leave more in question about the form of government the founders had in mind.

Some people are just too lazy to write clearly and properly and we're expected to coddle them.

There's no obligation on our part to take them seriously or continue reading what they've written.
