White House entices AMA with Dr. Payoffs

I just saw this article up on yahoo.

The part that blows me away is that the White House is actually trying to get their healthcare bill more support by promising to pay doctors more when otherwise they would have taken a 21% ratecut on Medicare patients.

And who says the estimated costs of the bill won't be more expensive than initially planned?
