Iraq annouced the same plan two weeks before the invasion.

The strategy both undermines the former world reserve currency (the dollar) and gives rise to independence and diversification within Iran as opposed to Interdependence which is sought by the world central banks.

If this had happened while the dollar was the defacto standard you can be guaranteed we would already be leveling Iran as a third front in the war on terrior.

CNN is reporting Iran is "studying the draft proposal" and has requested more time to review the deal:

They're trying to delay a decision until next week. The coincidence of the timing of these two events can't be an accident. Iran seems to have gotten their message out appearing as agreeable to a deal without having accepted a deal. Stalling until after they begin trading on Monday. It seems a precipitating event would be opportune for the US.

Wasn't this oil bourse supposed to go online over a year ago? If I'm remembering correctly, Iran's communications were just about completely cut off a few days before the bourse was previously set to start back in '08. Apparently, 3 or 4 undersea communications cables were mysteriously cut/broken all on the same day. Or something like that.

but it's likely that the euro zone attracts some of the former dollar money, when the dollar collapses. A flawed currency can still survive a few years, just look at the dollar.

I do not for one second believe that Lehman triggered this financial crisis, nor that Americans “just borrowed too much”, this insane world doesn’t reflect a little misstep, this is no ‘normal’ recession.

I happen to find Fisk’s article very plausible, although I tend to think that if the architects do not plan for the USA’s transition, WWIII will come first.

My only disappointment is that they not just saying, lets give the world honest money and make it work… all of it.

I don’t like anti or pro USA sentiment, I think the problem is greater than that, and I think countries now intervening in the inept bankers plan is desperately needed, and if not something like this, what is going to make the world spin, certainly not the global warming transfer pricing scheme, or the indebted and mismanaged dollar.

I seem to recall lots of predictions from various sources, warning of something major happening on or about October 25th, 2009. The Webbots specifically noted that it is very likely to be financial and dollar related. Their latest update said that a possibility exists that their previous outlook for a one year dollar decline into November 2010 may happen much quicker and take till only early December 2009. Regardless, they expect it to begin in a few days.

They also noted, that the peak of the shift from "release" language back to "tension building" will be sometime just before midnight on October 25th. Tehran is +3:30 GMT right now and New York is -4:00 GMT right now. (we will end DST on November 1st and New York will be -5:00 GMT, Tehran ended DST back in September)

This puts 8am Tehran at 0'dark 30 in New York, slightly after midnight. If the Webbots are otherwise correct, that is pretty flippin close to me! (not that I'm trying to give them a hit, just that I wouldn't count being an hour off if they get the event right as a miss) This would of course still be 10/25 for the rest of the country when Tehran opens the bourse. (and George Ure does live in Texas inside the Central Time Zone.)

It was when Iran first announced it that Bush started the major saber rattling at Iran, and it looked like he was going. I felt almost sure he was going. Then something happened and he suddenly stopped. In fact, he stopped doing just about anything publicly. Condi Rice and the others shut up too. It was like a switch was flipped.

pretty often lately...he does seem to say it looks dollar related...Or maybe an attack on Iran. Either way looks like Iran/Dollar. And your timeline looks pretty close, also the Asian Markets are lining up then too.
