Young Obama's words in regards to the Constitution : "the distribution of wealth is not even mentioned."
I missed this first time around. Brian Lancaster at Jumping in Pools reported on Obama’s college thesis, written when he was at Columbia. The paper was called “Aristocracy Reborn,” and in the first ten pages (which were all that reporter Joe Klein–who wrote about it for Time–was permitted to see), the young Obama wrote:
“… the Constitution allows for many things, but what it does not allow is the most revealing. The so-called Founders did not allow for economic freedom. While political freedom is supposedly a cornerstone of the document, the distribution of wealth is not even mentioned. While many believed that the new Constitution gave them liberty, it instead fitted them with the shackles of hypocrisy.”

What he meant to say is that
What he meant to say is that the Constitution did not properly address the distribution of the working man's wealth & savings..
Good people do Good deeds
Good people make it happen
That was the young Obama.
That was the young Obama. The new Obama has no problem with funneling money to banksters to increase the wealth gap.

If he would have ever had a
If he would have ever had a real job, he would think different about redistribution of wealth.
Anyway, I think he was just kissing up to his lefty Profs.
What about the rest of the Columbia file?
Any foreign student evidence?

I am shocked by his disdain for the founders as he
refers to them as the "so called founders." I am still in shock that he is the president and our country is running towards socialism.

I'll add
that he was not much younger. This statement illustrates his fundamental inability to understand the ideas in the Constitution. Either that or he deliberately misrepresents the fact that distribution of wealth is addressed in nearly every sentence of the document, and overwhelmingly clearly when reading Article I, Section 10, Clause 1: No State shall…coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debt. Distribution and redistribution is addressed AT THE MONETARY UNIT as is private property rights. This clearly put the private property in the hands of those who trade their labor for it, and beyond the question of a doubt establishes that redistribution is ILLEGAL under our laws.
