**note: i just noticed that this isn't on the main gop website, but one setup by a group called gopbloggers.org. it may just be a stunt to get us pissed off and start going to their site to complain, thus getting them more traffic.

Also. I got an automated call last night asking about who I'd vote for in the republican primary. Options were 1-5 being Rudy, Mitt, Fred, John, and Mike, and 6 for other. I pushed 6. The prompt then told me that by pushing 6 I chose not to bothered by such calls in the future, and the line was cut. Not only was Ron Paul not on the list, they effectively silenced my vote if at some point they do include him and called back. Those polls are such BS its sad.

Campaigns may be fishing for support. They will then put you on a list of people to call back if you happen to choose the "right" candidate.

Surely, it would not be anything but an unfortunate mistake that resulted in his ommision as Paul has been reported by many sources as one of the top finishers for most of the straw polls that have be conducted across the country.

Because they cheated they have lost credibility and web traffic (especially from the Ron Paul voters). Because of lost web traffic they don't have as much revenue coming in from their banner ads. They just lost a lot of money for their website/organization, so it's their loss.

I personally wouldn't get too worked up about it. These people are just showing their true colors and fighting them with emails will get you nowhere. Its far far better to spend that time and energy going out there to find some Republicans that believe in free speech, but have never heard of Ron Paul - they are out there.
