Take a look, see for yourself. I wonder which DP'er will come up with the most 'reasonable' explanation, because of their refusal to believe that the U.S. is a corporation??

Dunn and Bradstreet is a credit rating agency. My guess is, if you pay for their report, it will tell you that checks Ron Paul cuts on his House office account are good. (He does not issue bonds.)

Ron Paul, although the best in office, is still a public office known as RON PAUL. His likeness as a congressman has a value, and that value has a bond. ALL public office holders MUST have a bond on record.
If you pay for the report, it will give you a 'cusip' number or a "d-u-n-s" number, (9 digits, just like your ss) and other info about the 'corporation' RON PAUL, such as location, history, etc.

D&B does NOT report ANYTHING about Ron Pauls checks being good, that is ridiculous....boy, you have a hard time believing any of this huh?

If Ron Paul's office wants to get new TV's, the vendor can check with DnB to see if his customer pays bills on time.

you are confusing the idea of "credit rating" such as experion, trans union, etc, as used in Ron Pauls personal life, for the corporate value assessment rating found in S&P and D&B.

The interesting part of this whole site is that "BARACK OBAMA" is also traded as "THE UNITED STATES" and that "RON PAUL" is also traded as "UNITED STATES CONGRESS"

this PROVES that they (their name) become corporate entities with a value, which you have been arguing against all along.

You always seem to miss the point, perhaps in hopes of some loony conspiracy accusations to be made, and turn it into some "acceptable" transaction.

I cant remember what your response was to learning that "The United States" is a corporation, or 'The United States' is located in the District of Columbia..:probably something like "um...thats um....uh...just a way that the government can uh...buy t.v.'s for the white house or something"...or something asinine like that:

Monopoly money could say United States of America...it isnt illegal to print that on paper, this makes people feel comfortable with the money.

But remember, the ONLY reason it has value is because everyone agrees.
at any time, people could stop accepting it, then it loses all of its value. Seems impossible doesnt it?

The reason this seems so "Mind Blowing" is that for some reason, we trust our government. EVERY SINGLE GOVERNMENT entity is incorporated, and thus 'traded'. police, fire, courts, etc.

Does everyone think the Uniform Commercial Code came from. There's not a lot of cross over case law concerning matters other than commercial or appellate concerning same. If you look at the courthouses and the fact they're commercial I'd be leaning toward all crimes are commercial.

someone on here a while back posted one site where you could put in your social security number and see what it was worth (I think it was Fidelity). It was a fund somewhere. I think mine was worth something like $67 dollars (humph!) anyhow it came to mind that perhaps in some weird way there was insurance on that fund - I mean it was an asset on someone's list.

What if I was to die? What would happen? Would I be worth more dead? there must be some insurance that someone must hold on their assets? Maybe this is similar?
