Ron Paul Alex Jones & All Patriots Are Generals Fighting For Liberty!

0 votes

Visited Alex Jones websites since 2002...one day in 2006 there was a video posted on prisonplanet.com it was a Republican Congressman speaking out against the war in Iraq - I was asking myself "what is going on"? a Republican Congressman telling the TRUTH!!

Did not pay much attention to this Republican with glasses bad hair and old looking...up untill I saw another post early 2007 a video - this guy named Ron Paul is running for president and speaks to me by the cozy fireplace in the video posted on AJ's prisonplanet.com

It got my attention and I was following many small get-togethers of his supporters...one video keeps me teary eyed - a group of perhaps 20 die-hards holding signs for Ron Paul during McCain rally - also posted on prisonplanet...

...april 2007 came and little money was raised...but debates their exposure and people like me our frantic passionate activist action changed all that...

God Bless all patriots!!

Guess I'll stop supporting Ron because of how the MSM views him.
Gosh we have some fools on here.I'm sooo worried what people think of me.Get bent.
The time is too short to deal with fools.

Thanks Legalize.

I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees...

The question we can't really answer

Is how many people would be Ron Paul supporters if not for the association with Alex Jones, and how many supporters have been driven away. There's no way to tell this for sure, but I'll bet its significant.

I wouldn't have known

if not for AJ. And everyone I know wouldn't have either. I know a whole bunch of People who like Ron Paul now.. Because I found out through AJ and spread that information.

bad argument

You can say the same thing about the internet. How many people would know about RP if not for the internet. Does it follow that if RP is right so must be the internet? NO!
The internet is full of bad information and so is AJ. He has some good opinions SOMETIMES.

I stand by my comment

There are some people who need to be booted out. I have absolutely no problem with people promoting any views as long as Ron Paul agrees with it. Dont give me this BS about "This is not about Ron Paul, this is about freedom, liberty, constitution" etc. This is DAILYPAUL, so it has to be broadly in agreement with his principles, even though you may differ a little bit on solutions.

But if you want to promote (A) views which he has completely disowned (911 truth movement), (B) views which he has never expressed (Obama is not a citizen) and (C) views which fly in the face of commonsense (Second Amendment rights mean you can carry a gun to a President's rally), then you have absolutely no place here.

I stand by comment that people who promote THEIR OWN AGENDA need to get out of this forum. If Ron Paul agrees with these kinds of issues I mentioned above, I have no problems if you promote them then.
Until then, please keep off those views.

If you do not do this, then the movement will go completely off track and will no longer have discipline. Case in point: When Lindsey Graham mentioned erroneously that Ron Paul called Bush a "war criminal", NOT ONE of those jackass supporters refuted it. He has never said that. On the contrary, they screamed "He is" giving the impression that Ron Paul said so. As his supporter, I was absolutely enraged that someone disparaged him and not one supporter stood up for RP and the truth.

kram_krish75 I'll Stand By Dr.Pauls Words That We Need A New

Investigation.

Congressman Ron Paul, MD – 9-term Congressman from Texas, 1979 - 1985, 1997 - present. Candidate for the 2008 Republican Presidential nomination. Member of the House Financial Services Committee, the International Relations committee, and the Joint Economic Committee. On the Financial Services Committee, he serves as the Vice Chairman of the Oversight and Investigations subcommittee. 1988 Libertarian Party candidate for President. Physician. Former Flight Surgeon, U.S. Air Force.

* Audio interview The Alex Jones Show 1/18/07: "Dr. Ron Paul, Texas Congressman exploring a run for President, appeared on The Alex Jones Show Wednesday and had the following to say about 9/11:

Caller: I want a complete, impartial, and totally independent investigation of the events of September 11, 2001 . I'm tired of this bogus garbage about terrorism. Ask Michael Meacher about how he feels about this bogus war on terrorism. Can you comment on that please?

Congressman Paul: Well, that would be nice to have. Unfortunately, we don't have that in place. It will be a little bit better now with the Democrats now in charge of oversight. But you know, for top level policy there's not a whole lot of difference between the two policies so a real investigation isn't going to happen. But I think we have to keep pushing for it. And like you and others, we see the investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on."

* Radio interview on Wake Up America with Pat Gorman 6/21/07: In response to a caller's question about the 9/11 investigation.

Congressman Paul: Well, I think he was asking about, you know, who ultimately is to blame and whether or not it deserves more investigation. There was one investigation. They spent a lot of money and very extensive and I think he indicated that they didn't even mention the third building that went down (WTC Building 7).

Government investigations, as a general rule, aren't very good because when the government does it, they generally protect the government. And whether it's investigating 9/11, or, you know, Ruby Ridge, or Waco, they tend more to be coverups than anything else.

( edit by Thomas,I like how Dr. Paul lumps these 3 events together as coverups.)

The truth is I don't know exactly all that transpired. I don't know if anybody knows the absolute truth, but there's reason to be very suspect of what's happened. And I am convinced that the 9/11 Commission Report did ignore some very, very important things like the third building, as well as why did those numerous Arabs from Saudi Arabia with the name of bin Laden get to go home when none of us were allowed on airplanes. That always amazed me, as well, especially since the 15 out of 19 came from Saudi Arabia. And then they turn around and they use this as an excuse to go into Iraq. So, you know the whole thing, whether it's strictly 9/11 but it's the repercussions from 9/11 that led to the useless and needless war, that all needs looked into just for the sake of the future of our country. ...

Pat Gorman: It seems that we've got this propaganda machine that has just started to really blow up and being out of control. Like, you know, tell them whatever we want them to hear. Don't tell them the truth. ...

Congressman Paul: Yeah and I think that's true. The only way that can work is you have to terrorize the people, our people, in a different way than, you know, what terrorism is really is all about, but we terrorize them by building up tremendous fear. You know, "If you don't do something, if you don't give up your liberties and if you don't invade this country, we're all going to be blown up." You know, so they have to terrorize us and build great fear that something terrible is going to happen to our country unless we sacrifice our liberties and go to war."

* Editor's note: WTC Building 7 was 610 feet tall, 47 stories. It would have been the tallest building in 33 states. Although it was not hit by an airplane, it completely collapsed into a pile of rubble in less than 7 seconds at 5:20 p.m. on 9/11, seven hours after the collapses of the Twin Towers. However, no mention of its collapse appears in the 9/11 Commission's "full and complete account of the circumstances surrounding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks." Watch the collapse video here. And six years after 9/11, the Federal government has yet to publish its promised final report that explains the cause of its collapse.

It doesnt prove RP is a truther

He has said that many times. His support for a new investigation is based on his belief of a cover-up of "ineptness" and not an "inside job". RP has clarified that in his TV interview with Glenn Beck in December 2007. He called these inside job theories "preposterous" and "bizzare". New investigation? By all means. Inside job? No.

i stand by my comment that you don't have a clue...

when it comes to understanding individual rights, freedoms, and expressions...

i could not disagree with you more, this movement will survive longer and thrive longer with people like me

it will whither and die with people like you telling everyone else what they can, and can not, talk about here

9//11 was an inside job!

open carry MEANS open carry!

kram_krish75 sounds like 1933 germany to me..."only what mine leader wants, nothing else, take zis one away"!

btw, bush is, in my opinion, a war criminal..

O Captain! My Captain! Rise up and hear the bells!

You can talk, but DONT LIE

You said "9//11 was an inside job!"...Just because you think so, doesnt mean it is a fact. It is not an inside job.

"open carry MEANS open carry!"

That doesnt mean you can carry a gun to my house. I have every right to restrict it. And it doesnt mean that you are entitled to carry it to a President's town hall meeting. No reasonable person including the most vociferous pro-Second Amendment guy will agree with this nonsense of going to a President's meeting with a gun.

"kram_krish75 sounds like 1933 germany to me..."only what mine leader wants, nothing else, take zis one away"!"

...Another nonsensical statement, just to call anyone who says not to be disingenuous and attribute false quotes to RP as a Nazi.

"btw, bush is, in my opinion, a war criminal.."

You just proved my point. I dont give a damn for your opinion. The point was that not one so-called RP supporter in the audience told Lindsey "RP never called Bush a war criminal".

...and how much MONEY...

...are "patriot leaders" making off all of these dissenting malcontents in BOTH the conservative circles and patriot/liberty circles that apparently are still at war with each other and benefiting the Democrats and Obama, which BOTH of these camps have CREATED!

The people are voting themselves "largesse from the public treasury" - and there is NO foreseeable end to that in SIGHT - and even the most Liberty-minded conservatives, the democratic majority of Americans are OFFENDED and INTOLERANT of the undefiled Christian religion our founders subscribed to, and inculcated into our American-Patriotic public education system...and so WE FAIL to gain Divine assistance with defeating tyranny.

Good luck with your failed endeavors...I guarantee you Ron Paul wouldn't DARE to speak as boldly as some of us...but he sure is building a financial Kennedy-dynasty for himself through endorsing policy positions MOSTLY consistent with my faith...that none of these pot-smoking, pro-choice Libertarians want to hear about!

The founders sacrificed their lives, FORTUNES, and sacred honor to throw off tyranny - they signed their own death warrants after the Boston Massacre; because of Ecclesiastical Tyranny - the predominately conservative American People are a covetous and idolatrous people - and because they currently still lack the resources to mount an offensive against this tyranny - they simply have no intention in the near future to become and informed electorate...

Gee, the founders faced the same dilemma!!!

So how did they win our Independence? DIVINE PROVIDENCE!!!

Without God - this movement is an absolute JOKE!

Rockin' the FREE world in Tennessee since 1957!

these are not mere "differing views"...

Pot smokers, gays, guys that want to kill the baby they fathered out of convenience - or to "spare the tax payers" of a "burden" - and other MORONS that want to live in perpetual mind-numbing adolescence make Glenn Beck RIGHT about what he says!

Newt Gingrich is even on the wrong side of the NY-23 debate - the Republican Party ought to CATER to our pro-Liberty/pro-Constitution side - but you morons with no morals who think the founders were religious bigots haven't got two brain cells knocking together either!

The Zionist-controlled Republican Party is not going to GIVE UP their POWER - and they, along with the Fox News Channel(who are supposedly hiring Libertarians now) are going to sweep you guys back up - because you don't want the RULE of LAW; you just want to RULE!!!

When the GOP retains power again, they will set up the Judeo-Christian THEOCRATIC State - and we will look just like IRAN; I say drop the pot VOLUNTARILY, and GROW UP - don't vote for Ron Paul because he says he won't pass legislation to deliberately seek to take it away from you by means of declaring a WAR on substance abuse - vote for Ron Paul because he will LEAVE YOU ALONE and let you make your own choices - but ALWAYS remember, his Party, the "lesser of two evils" party - the "moderate" party that will go full blown LIBERAL before they ever go conservative - and they WILL TAKE your pot away - and they will take it away in the name of JESUS...me on the other hand, like Ron Paul, say NO to a theocracy...but strongly advise you to either GROW UP, or don't BOAST about your USE of it PUBLICLY!

You are FREE to CHOOSE - to smoke pot, be gay, or have an abortion - but you are a FOOL and you are angering the Creator by doing so!!!

And this anti-God sentiment is what is KILLING this movement!

I don't advocate a theocracy - I FEAR one - the FOUNDERS were right!

The General Principles of Christianity ought to be TAUGHT - what do you plan on teaching the CHILDREN? Smoke pot - fornicate - if it feels good, do it? Wow! How does that lack of MORAL restraint not bleed over unto fiscal irresponsibility? How did the Roman Empire fall again?

Religion and morality are INDISPENSABLE SUPPORTS - to labor to hewn them down means you are NOT a patriot!

GROW UP!

I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees...

This is the problem with Libertarians

You cannot control them.

And while I think it is good to appeal to people's sense of reason, ask them to maybe take a different perspective, I don't believe in booting anyone who has not made personal attacks against other members, or is spamming.

I do mostly agree with you that promoting some of these views is detrimental to any mainstream political activity. I have said that regularly, and forcefully at times. But, Who posts what is up to Michael, and I would not ask him to boot someone because of their views, at most I would point out how I think the viewpoint is detrimental and crazy, and ask the poster to consider not associating this with RP.

"you can not control them"...

and that is a bad thing?

keep on talking, strawman77, we love to hear you define yourself!

Rockin' the FREE world in Tennessee since 1957!

Well it depends on your goal

Generally its good.

But if you need to do things that require discipline and organization, its pretty hard. So conventional political campaigns are difficult to pull off with libertarian minded people.

On the other hand, libertarians can quickly self organize like no other group if conditions are right. They just have a hard time going conventional - as we saw with the last RP presidential campaign.

Freedom =

Freedom demands responsibility

Alex Jones is not responsible. He is a net negative to this movement. Does he have value? Sure. His listeners have value, too. And some of his listeners are a net positive in this movement.

But some are also wackjob hijackers of the movement who are CLEARLY a net negative.

So the MikeLawsons of the movement, who are constant cancers killing our prospects for growth and success, can throw out the "freedom means no booting" and "freedom means no censorship" and "those who want message focus are anti-freedom" LIES all they want. The bottom line is that these people are oblivious to political reality (or they just don't care about the damage they do), and they have managed to get their crazy little hands all over this movement. It's sad.

Protections for anonymous speech are vital to democratic discourse. Allowing dissenters to shield their identities frees them to express critical, minority views...Anonymity is a shield from the tyranny of the majority. - SCotUS, 1995

Mike Lawson a cancer of the movement? Hardly.

Judging from your comments to Michael Nystrom, and everyone else on this forum, this may mean nothing to you, but Michael recently had this to say to Mike Lawson:

"Mike, You're a huge asset to the DP."

http://www.dailypaul.com/node/109738#comment-1197129

Mike Lawson is anything but a cancer on this movement and Nystrom is right, Mike Lawson is a huge asset on this forum. The same cannot be said for your behavior. :(

WCU4Paul, you spend a disproportionate amount of your time here criticizing and insulting people.

You point out below that "you reap what you sow". What kind of harvest do you expect to reap sowing the nasty seeds you have been sowing?

you know, jiminy...

you just gotta question the authenticity of people who shout down the messenger while completely ignoring the message...

isn't this a worn out, necon "tool" they have been pulling out of their bag of tricks for decades?

those who are exposing the lies that keep us enslaved are being attacked, and they are being attacked heavily right here and right now!

you go, mike lawson! you must be doing something right to have them mention you by name...(i need to work harder here, nobody ever calls me a cancer!)...i'm jealous!

Rockin' the FREE world in Tennessee since 1957!

Dunno about WCU4Paul's authenticity, but...

If he is so concerned that people are being turned off, he might do well to reconsider his own sour attitude.

The antethesis of Liberty is control

Freedom isn't control.

War isn't peace.

Freedom isn't slavery.

Ignorance isn't strength.

Freedom demands nothing. YOU are demanding things from people who'd rather not obey you. You're free to disagree and state your mind all you wish. I, however, will tell you to go shit in your hat and pull it down over your ears if you think for one moment that 'freedom' requires that I obey you in any way.

What's sad is that certain people believe that liberty and freedom require anything but leaving other people alone.
