Does anyone know why myspace and facebook both chose corporate logos beginning with lower case letters?

My girlfriend suggested that it might be because they are trying to be cool by breaking then common rule of capitalizing proper nouns... like we're all saying "holy crap you can't break grammar rules on the internet! that's so cool! such rebels..."

easier to type in lower case letters? Dag gonnit I just joined facebook yesterday after avoiding it forever and now you guys are making me paranoid. I probably won't mess with it much because I can't stay away from here.

I smell a rat. I hope this doesn't mean they have sold out the old team and moved over/under a new team, that lets them escape future liabilities, from sharing their info with... ya know...Maybe, the sh@t is gonna hit the fan sooner than we think. Any imput?

Like they don't know everything anyway

Geez we say more here about stuff they would be interested in than well at least as far as I can tell than what they would want to know from facebook. Facebook seem like people tell you when they fart or the baby poops or they are stuck in traffic. Blah blah . Hope they have fun with that.
I bet I get out of it in a week. It is driving me nuts. All these people who don't call,email or visit you will be your "friend" on facebook. Nice to keep up with what your relatives kids look like if you haven't seen them for years or EVER

and yes they do track everywhere else but the big difference is the TOS. Teh internets has no TOS, those sites do.
