Fringe wingnut joins 2 year club on DP

I'm a fringe wingnut on DP, happy to be celebrating two years. I'm a libertarian, a believer in austrian economics, an RP precinct captain and donor, and an author and long-time activist for free enterprise and downsizing dc. Still here, even though I also believe we landed on the moon, 9/11 was not an inside job, the media did not manipulate a Huckabee victory in Iowa, Diebold machines did not take more than a few votes from RP in New Hampshire, JFK was not shot because of his plan to end the fed, the delegate movement to steal the nomination for RP was misplaced energy, and I've never cared about Dr. Steve Parent, Daddy Warbucks, Trevor Lyman or other Paulites with bullhorns, though Aimee Allen is kind of cute.

I know quiltingsando tolerates my existence... and that's enough :) Seriously, DP is still valuable to me.

I sometimes wonder what fraction of the members here are not wingnuts.

Had to leave a comment to find out how long I have been on DP and I cant beleive that it has been that long. This is one of the first sites that got me hooked on the internet. The people are so interesting, inteligent and caring. God does bless every day

5 weeks, and I will have been here two years as well. However, I have kept a low profile, and prefer now to make a comment on a rare occasion, and merely read threads that interest me. I have no interest in chemtrails, for the record. Wow, Steve Parent is now 'ThePatriot'? I had no idea. Oh, and I thought that the 'delegate steal' plan was insane, dishonest, and mostly a bunch of crap. Happy as a clam with the DP. Thanks Michael!

Congrats fellow wingnut. One year 44 weeks and counting here. To fan the flames I would add:

  • Chem trails are bollocks.
  • Roswell was a weather balloon.
  • The universe is roughly 13 billion years old and humans did evolve from pond scum (but I fully support your right to teach your children otherwise).
  • Peter Hendrickson will ruin your life for $24.95 and not lose any sleep over it.
  • Elvis is still dead
  • Aimee Allen would be genuinely hot were it not for the tramp stamps. :)
