Chinese Reject H1N1 Vaccine

The people of China are the latest to reject the H1N1 vaccine, according to results of national poll there indicating that concern over the vaccine’s safety outweighs concern over the virus itself.
The primary reason for the turnaround, according to the survey results, is a general worry over the quality and reliability of the vaccine, given that it has been fastracked and is based on “mock up vaccines” that are up to two years old.

Suddenly solicitous
for the health of their populace? Or maybe they fear the vaccine won't be as effective against their overpopulation problem as the swine flu itself. Still, I'm surprised they're not willing to test it on a few million of their population.
Oh, I know what it is. They don't want to shell out the money for the vaccine, whether it works or not. Same here ;-)

The vaccines were all sold months ago, the money has all changed hands already.
Ever think you would feel this way? "Wish I had as much liberty as a Chinese person." OK, not quite there, but getting dangerously close.
