Gardasil Researcher Drops A Bombshell
Dr. Diane Harper, lead researcher in the development of two human papilloma virus vaccines, Gardasil and Cervarix, said the controversial drugs will do little to reduce cervical cancer rates and, even though they’re being recommended for girls as young as nine, there have been no efficacy trials in children under the age of 15.
Dr. Harper, director of the Gynecologic Cancer Prevention Research Group at the University of Missouri, made these remarks during an address at the 4th International Public Conference on Vaccination which took place in Reston, Virginia on Oct. 2-4. Although her talk was intended to promote the vaccine, participants said they came away convinced the vaccine should not be received.
“I came away from the talk with the perception that the risk of adverse side effects is so much greater than the risk of cervical cancer, I couldn’t help but question why we need the vaccine at all,” said Joan Robinson, Assistant Editor at the Population Research Institute.
Dr. Harper began her remarks by explaining that 70 percent of all HPV infections resolve themselves without treatment within a year. Within two years, the number climbs to 90 percent. Of the remaining 10 percent of HPV infections, only half will develop into cervical cancer, which leaves little need for the vaccine.
She went on to surprise the audience by stating that the incidence of cervical cancer in the U.S. is already so low that “even if we get the vaccine and continue PAP screening, we will not lower the rate of cervical cancer in the US.”
There will be no decrease in cervical cancer until at least 70 percent of the population is vaccinated, and even then, the decrease will be minimal.

My daughter's doctor recommended it last spring when she was
only 13 1/2 (I do know a lot of kids are experimenting at that age). I looked the doctor in the eyes and told her politely, yet flat out that I do NOT want her to have this poison and that my daughter will NOT be a TEST subject for the pharmaceutical companies ( I think she wrote that in her chart!) I told her that I had researched it and concluded that it is NOT safe, children have DIED and suffered neurological problems. At that point she was bewildered that I felt so strongly about it, but told me that if I changed my mind the vaccine would be available! I was tempted to ask her if she got a cut of the proceeds, but decided against it, no point in making her an adversary. I just wish kids weren't in such a big hurry to grow up and think that they have to be having sex to feel more mature, so many problems could be avoided.

I drive a school bus in a poor area and some of these girls can not wait to start welfare by having a baby, because their mama did it. And it is weird seeing 14 and 15 year old girls stop going to school for a couple of months and then seeing them heavy with child.
Then of course you have a lot of kids doing it because they know no other way of life. The kids have asked how many women I have been with and do not believe me when I say I am a virgin. They ask how an adult can be a virgin. It is sad.
Isn't this on the vaccine schedule?
I think it's recommended six times between the ages of 11-18. I just recently ran into an issue with vaccines and child care for the first time. When we were in TX, the DOD childcare agencies deferred to the state exemptions on vaccinations and entrance into their childcare program. Now that we're in Colorado I've had two separate installations tell me they don't defer to State exemptions! ALL KIDS have to get the recommended vaccines. I'm trying to figure out how to fight this one now, reason why my daughter doesn't go to a military medical facility!

No religious exemptions in
No religious exemptions in colorado? I had a slight issue with my son when he started kindergarten but elementary was a very big obstacle. Different state of course. I just know they present roadblocks and generally dont know what to tell you. If you do a bit of research I think you will find something.

Well obviously the Preventive Med staff
at the military clinic think they are religious experts as well! I have to schedule a meeting with the unit Chaplin, have a religious clergy person validate my claim AND provide supporting documentation on why my religion doesn't vaccinate! I know there's some serious infringements on civil liberties going on here, nothing like i've ever experienced. I just need to find the magic combination to solve this dilemma, I'm working on it, thanks for the feedback.

about this vaccine for her daughter. She did end up listening to me, thank goodness. Believe it or not I don't know of many people getting it but, then again, how many people go around stating, "I got that vaccine".
I have a friend who
had her two daughters get the vaccines. I cringed when she told me but it was after the fact and I just couldn't say anything because it would have up set her and she wouldn't have believed me anyway. I have been trying for two years to get her to wake up, no way.

Here's a way to try...
Print out some articles about Gardesil and start reading them when she's around and then gasp aloud to get her attention. This might lead her to wonder what the fuss is about and then hand the printouts to her.
