HR1207 Ron Paul we need a Discharge Petition now!
There is no need to call Nancy Pelosi or Barney Frank or anyone else in the House for that matter. There are 308 co-sponsors, which means nothing. Co-sponsoring doesn't even mean they support the bill or will vote for it, just that they would like a hearing. We got the hearing - just a bunch of talk.
HR1207 now has the visibility and every member of the House knows what it's about, unless they have been living under a rock. It's time to work on next steps.
What we need now is a Discharge Petition signed by 218 members of the House. HR1207 will immediately come to a vote and we will get our answer as to will vote to Audit the Fed.
Call Ron Paul's office at (202) 225-2831 or Alan Grayson's at (202) 225-2176 and ask them to write-up the petition.
Then we will call each House member who symbolicly co-sponsored the bill to sign on the dotted line.
BTW, signing the discharge petition doesn't mean they will vote Yea, but at least we'll get a count.
Ron Paul has learned a thing or two
Ron Paul has learned a thing or two in his decades in the House. He will bring a discharge petition if and when the time is right. He does not need us taking up his secretaries' time.

For all the great things he is, Ron Paul is not a leader. In his own words, he is a messenger, spreading the message of liberty and freedom. He works vigilantly to educate others about libertarian thought and philosophy, but following his own philosophy is a pacifist.
Ron Paul has taken it 95 yards and what we need now is someone to push the ball over the line. Is he the guy to do it? I don't know, but we need someone. Grayson perhaps. If you don't want to call Ron Paul's office, then call Grayson's.
It seems that there is only one way to get this past Pelosi and Frank - a Discharge Petition.
