Fox "News" Exclusive: US Army Recruitment Commercial as News

You can't call this anything but a commercial. The question is whether Fox got compensated for airing this Army job ad as a piece of "news."
And the one skill set that the Army is particularly interested in? General George Casey Jr. says, "I would say, probably, contracting?" (He said it like that - like a question?) I'm confused, too. I didn't realize that "contracting" was a skill set.
And they call this news.

When the economy goes bad, the government socialists employ more people in the military. People get desperate and enlist because they have little other options. You think young men would enlist if there were job opportunities elsewhere? Do say it's because they want to protect their country, we can do that without enlisting in government socialist military complexes. It can all be done by voluntary local militias. Young men want to work, they have dreams, but the government protects corporations and doesn't allow competition. How many auto companies have opened in the last 20, 30, 50 years here in the good old USA? None that can compete with the big guys, why? Because they are too important to fail. They don't even want us to fix up our old cars anymore and employ our local mechanics, no, it is better to bailout the big guys. Can't even have a garage sale these days, cause you might be trying to make a living selling used goods.

Thank you. I'd always strive to keep my oath. I've openedly told my chain of command as well and surprising didn't receiving any negative counciling for it yet. I'm not alone in my unit. Though most are not as passionate as I am I know most will never betray America. Not sure to what extent though I leave it to the bare bottom I will not even step foot aggressively off post. Tell me to patrol main street? No sir. I look forward to the day when I can retire this uniform. I no longer want to participate is these unconstituional endeavor around the world. Afghanistan is a waste of time and lives. I don't want to go back there and die for something so worthless. Then having my dughter grow up and learn in history books about misrepresented reasoning for why her daddy is gone.

While the directive suggests that the DoD will at first seek volunteers to serve in the civilian workforce, section 4, subsection (e) paragraph (2) states:
Management retains the authority to direct and assign civilian employees, either voluntarily, involuntarily, or on an unexpected basis to accomplish the DoD mission.
In addition, the directive states that all workforce members will be subject to physical and psychological testing, both before and after deployment.

that was disgusting. Boy what a big pitch during a time of high unemployment. I'm sure there are plenty of morally deficient people who would love to work for the empire, God help us. I worked for a DOD contractor, had to quit when I learned the real truth behind the military. I was fortunate to be able to retire, and I retired early. I also got the part about the stress reduction test, available. Take the test, loose your right to own a gun. Get the family involved, then no guns in the house. Evil, Evil people. Thanks Mike for posting this, I have no stomach for msm news so I appreciate the ones who can tolerate this stuff and keep the rest of us informed.
