Ron Paul FRONT PAGE CNN!! I am Sad and Mad!!
Submitted by takeaction on Fri, 10/30/2009 - 10:12
I am sad and furious at the same time. Why??
During the campaign for Dr. Paul...all of these media outlets marginalized him and made him into a "kook". Now they idolize his thoughts and many people have come around to his way of thinking. Beck, Oreiley, CNN, CNBC, Rick Santelli, Hannity, and even **** You Frank Luntz. This is TOTAL BULL****. The best presidential candidate was right in front of every-bodies nose....and they blew it.
I often think "These people voted for Obama....and this is what you deserve."
It is sad.....
Here is the article on CNN

It's a mistake to think that 912ers and those that follow
Hannity, Beck, Rush, Savage, and O'Really that if those guys turn on Paul during the next election (if he runs) that those folks wont turn too.
They are fair-weather fans - many of them just don't want a black man in office -- others are mad only because our economy is tanking.
They parrot those idiots and the idiots are temporarily parroting Ron Paul -- that does not make the millions following those guys "fans of Paul"
They might not be able to turn us but they can easily turn them.
We (the RP-Hardcore) are only a percentage of what we were in Jan '08.
I would argue that our numbers are 40% - probably closer to 20%
The people who are temporarily aligned with us -- at "tea parties" are really only AGAINST Obama and leftist congress.

I agree with you
this is what I'm sayin'.
They idolize his thought because they believe he ...
has no chance of implementing them. They are trying to buy back their credibility with flattery. My biggest hope is that media wags are the first to be eliminated in an Obama police state.
Exactly.
The presidential elections are over, now they want him on for the ratings boost. And CNN needs it the most. If Dr. Paul runs again, I will not be surprised to see him marginalized yet again.
Yea they want to seem like they agree with him now
But when it mattered they wouldn't be anywhere near him. If Ron Paul allows Frank Luntz within 1000 yards of his campaign I'll dissociate myself from it completely.
It's easy to detect the sycophants just look at their history. I'm sure there is plenty of video of any Neo-Con laughing and ridiculing Dr. Paul.
My favorite video though is of Hannity being chased by a Ron Paul mob. He was so scared! I don't condone this but it's hard not to be amused by it:

Just remember that the message of liberty is advancing and the people are becomming educated. Once you learn the truth, it is impossible to go back and believe the lies. Just remember that and realize that it took us 200 years to get into this mess. Itmay take a few to get out, but there is hope as people awake to the truth.
Rest easy so that you can continue to plant the seeds of truth.
Bless your heart, takeaction
Ron Paul was the first major party candidate for me. I expected a professional campaign to emerge from the grassroots, but that never happened. Instead, there were surreal moments, like Sean Hannity being walked to work.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNZS9ZuZcrg
The censorship was mind blowing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AD--XUf0G9Q
You were right takeaction. You were right then, and you remain right today. Right with Ron Paul. You, me, all of us here celebrating our two year anniversaries together, learning, growing, working on 1207 and chemtrail reports... ;))
We are WINNING, en joy it, because 2012 is going to be all about breaking us up.. Ron Paul Republicans will try to reserect the GOP from the midget digits (and yank everyone's money chain until they nominate someone sure to lose against Obama /based on the Oct suprize of 2011)
Bill Hillsman has already formed what promises to be the most powerful ad campaign in political history for an Indy candidate, not that Indys are registered at 40%.. Gary Johnston, who supported Ron Paul may be asked to be the star, and he's in a very good position against Obama. I'm betting the Libertarian, Constitution and Reform party (will reserct) to run Ron Paul "clone" candidates.
Chin up. There's allot of work comming up.
WE ARE GOING TO WIN!

Thanks
Forward is the move!!
If we don't all get behind ONE SINGLE candidate
we will never pull it out of the hat.
We have to kill Voter Fraud also.
My answer, secede.
There's going to have to be compromises for that to happen
Agendas will be exposed. Counter punches, muckraking, sabotage and voter fraud, or stolen elections, are to be expected, to survive another mind blowing assult and censorship from MSM and defeat in the election, but winning the war on ideas...
Look at your name here ShineTheLight... you are so ready for the next election with that name. Indeed ShineTheLight.. That's what we are going to do best, united or divided, we are making a Mises NWO.
WE ARE GOING TO WIN!

Wow! The amount of ignorant
Wow! The amount of ignorant comments about monetary policy and issues at the bottom of Dr. Paul's CNN article is staggering!
We have come a long way in educating people, but the decades and decades of Keynesian lies and outright economic ignorance is still HUGE!
Read those comments...so sad.

Who is John Galt? Vote ███ ███ 2012!
And this is what I'm talkin' about
people - there are many more smart ones than 2008, but there are still huge numbers of the ones who think they are awake because they no longer like Obama, but will swing to any media candidate that is put before them. Just exactly like we have for decades and decades.
I was just talking to someone I have had great talks with for two years who is understanding everything, he said people won't listen to Dr. Paul because his voice is hard to listen to. Give me a 'stupid' break.
Let the dollar prove itself!
Hey, this is great article by the doctor on CNN but the comments section has several people making non-flattering remarks about him.
I would say
In spite of the past being bad, this is a good thing for the future. We have been planning on getting over the hump at some point, is it not better to enjoy the fact that we are getting there?
Take heart, goodness will prevail!

Agree with Michael below... dwelling on the "might have beens"
is an exercise in futility and a waste of our energies. Besides, BECAUSE he lost in 2008, and because the economy fell apart, he has had more facetime on all media outlets than he has probably had in his LIFETIME. Remember that it is CHANGING SOCIAL MOOD that we are after, so that even if Dr. Paul isn't around anymore SOCIETY demands freedom.
I had a friend who was devout Christian and a very wise person. This person used to say, "God doesn't always give you what you want when you want it...... but He is always on time."

Not
Dwelling on the past....just venting in regards to what I am witnessing. It continues to make me sick. I honestly do not think we will be able to recover in 2012. This country will be so buried in debt, and corruption.....we are so screwed! That is all
Because they think he won't run again
and they want in front of the crowd. BUT, give them an election and they will tell everyone to vote for a CFR candidate. They already all have their arguments against Paul ready, I would be willing to bet. I think they totally knew back at election exactly what they were doing. They held the dam back until the election was over and then they jumped in front of the rushing public. That is all it is. When election comes, they will be the all wise ones telling us who to vote for again. AND, you know what, we will fall for it.
I disagree (that we'll fall for it)
It will be hard, if not impossible, to put the Ron Paul genie back in the bottle. People are waking up, and the economy will only get worse. They're ready. The country is full of young, internet savvy voters who know what time it is.
2008 was a dry run. 2012 will be the real thing.
The media is very short sighted. I agree they relaxed after the last election, but they were so shortsighted they didn't realize there was another one coming, lol.
He'll be the one to beat.
We'll see Michael
I hope you are right, of course. But I see the neocons still being neocons and thinking they are awake. NOT.
Unfortuantely, I think you
Unfortuantely, I think you may have a point here. But when you say we will fall for it, I take it you mean the average voter who doesn't really know about what Ron Paul stands for, because I doubt any of us Ron Paul supporters will give a care what the msm tell us about who to vote for.
Oh, of course that is what I mean
No way a Ron Paul supporter would fall for it. I am talking about 'we the people.'
Be glad
Because 2012 is just around the corner.
Look forward, not back.
The master knows that the future is full of infinite possibilities, but the past has just one: Exactly what happened. Don't dwell there.
Be glad, for Dr. Paul is at the height of his powers. There is a big, fat fastball coming down the center of the plate, and Ron Paul is about to belt it out of the park.
Ron Paul 2012
Does this mean
you know something we don't know???
I'm just reading the tea leaves
He's going to be in SC and Iowa next month. That is a presidential run circuit.
This is exactly what Dr. Paul has worked and fought for his entire life. Now he's in the perfect spot to effect real change. In 2008, no one knew him. Today, everyone knows him. He has considerable respect across the spectrum. He's hardworking and energetic. I would be very surprised & disappointed if he didn't run in 2012. There is no single reason I can think of why he wouldn't.
Think about it. This time, he really has a chance to win.
