Weird formation in sky over Romania

If its a rare weather pattern how come there are two in one week ?

Cloud formation from my imagination

Here's one I did as an exercise, using nothing but black, white, and cadmium orange. Oil on panel 14x11

It's interesting that the sky appears blue, but it's an optical illusion. The paint is dead neutral gray. I confess that I lied. The grays were pre-tubed neutrals made from black, white, and enough raw umber to kill the blue/purple tint.

It's cloud's illusions I recall.
I really don't know clouds at all.

Frankly, have you ever tried to paint them? The reason they never look real is because they never look real.

It's almost impossible to paint a cloud. I do however paint pictures of them, which is pretty easy.

It reminds me of...I know...the crap I've found in my back yard...and which floats into my house all the time.

I wish it really was spider web then it would not be in my mouth and all over all the surfaces in my house.

Want to see something really scary? Do the red wine test (described at carnicom.com) and see it come out of your mouth and it just keeps coming and coming and coming

Every once in a while I open a bottle of red wine, drink a fair bit of it and then start rinsing to see if the fibres ever stop. It never stops but I am drunk enough to not really panic....

Now, are there really cloud pics at that link?
