Anyone notice how little "news" there has been about anything?

I mean Drudge for example used to update every minute or two with new stories. Rockwell's blog is even slow.

It seems that with all the shenanigans that the FED and Congress are trying to pull now, that there would be much more "news" even if it is predominately propaganda and fluff.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that not much info/news/propaganda/anything is being reported daily. I have noticed this about the last 2 months.

Watched a Gerald Celente video the other day and he is predicting another "terrorist incident" in the U.S. in 2010. I think it is because their plans are falling apart and the public isn't buying their B&^%$it anymore. Any "silence" in a news cycle makes me a little nervous.

No truer words. When we go shopping, what we spend generates income for the government. Best to spend your money locally and whenever possible barter with neighbors for services and goods. Barter with FRNs if you need to do so.

I notice dead periods over a few days stretch at a time every now and then. Today's felt kinda dead to me as far as news that gets to the watercooler. The plane/helicopter crash are the talk atm it seems.

The story about Balloon Boy's parents wanting to be on a Reality Show, and, Are Balloon Boy's Parents guilty of a Crime? and,
The economy is improving, and,
the GDP is UP! and,
The TARP funds have made ONE MILLION New JOBS!
I could go on, and on! How could you have missed these 'important' news stories?
