Werner von Blomberg personally ordered all soldiers in the army to pledge the Reichswehreid (oath of allegiance) not to Volk and Fatherland, but to the new Reichspräsident and Führer Adolf Hitler, which is thought to have limited later opposition to Hitler.

I sat through an Oath Keepers presentation some time ago and at the end I did not take the Oath because I thought I wasn't eligible as I have never sworn an oath in any official capacity. After the presentation I spoke with the coordinator and he said that if I (living in Florida) had a driver's license or in any state was registered to vote I had sworn an oath to uphold and defend... I had never heard this before and said I would look into it. I did and found the following...

This is the signature line of your voters application (again FL)

Oath: I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will protect and defend the
Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Florida, that
Date: I am qualified to register as an elector under the Constitution and laws of the
State of Florida, and that all information provided in this application is true.

In Florida, I had never filled this out because you have the option to do this at the time of getting or renewing your driver's license. and had never seen this, it was simply a check off box on the driver's license application.

I don't know how it's done in your state, but I would assume much is the same. If you vote, you have sworn an Oath to uphold and defend.

In a time where the President feels the Constitution is fundamentally flawed, and Pelosi when asked where in the Constitution does she feel that CONgress has the right to mandate health care and she responded "Are you serious, I mean are you really serious", the her press spokesman ushered the CNS reporter away and issued the statement that Pelosi did not take his question seriously. We each have a duty to uphold and defend the Constitution.

I know I'm preaching to the choir mostly here but if your not calling, phoning, faxing, standing, educating in short doing all that you can you are violating your oath. Not trying to suggest that I am perfect, because I'm not just letting you know (if you didn't already) that you have sworn an oath... It's not just our cops, soldiers, elected officials, president etc. It's you and me!
