I like this guy
I confess I didn't know much about Ventura, except that I found him a bit odd, but likeably so. I knew that he had been a professional wrestler, and I guess I once knew about the Navy Seal association. I also knew he had been on Alex Jones' radio show. That was a bout it. I don't know how he did as Governor of Minnesota, but I guess he was tolerated well, if not liked.
But this interview was a new Jesse Ventura to me. I like this guy. He is self-effacing, candid, smart, funny and stalwart.
The info was not surprising in the least.
Maybe you should invite him
to your island for a few cocktails and some heated debate on how Americans should go about defending themselves whilst you play in the sand with your toes.

For all of those doubting Jesse here..
I can understand the reasons you may be put off by him here, his appearance, the way he acts, his history as a wrestler, ect.. But keep some things in mind: He was a Navy SEAL and a Governor. SEALs are smart, cunning, and sometimes ruthless. They work closely with all branches of the government, including the CIA. None of us know how many times as a SEAL alone he may have interacted and worked side by side with the CIA, let alone being a Governor.
As an active duty Marine grunt, I can attest first hand to how truly patriotic members of the military can be, and on the other hand, how corrupt the leaders in government organizations can be.
Be a critical thinker, but don't underestimate this guy, and don't write him off just because of his appearance. SEALs are cut from a different mold than you and I.

Yeah. Im not too up on all things Jesse
I didnt even realize he was a SEAL until this video. I just figured he was a common-sense type celebrity who got voted in during a good year like Sonny Bono, Ahnold, Clint Eastwood etal. His wrestling /showboat past and the whispy throwback locks always screamed "If youré 18-24 yrs old - I'm cool! " but the man is a SEAL. That changes alot in my estimation of him. Thats some rare cloth he's cut from.

I believe everything he said in that interview. and I loves me some Jesse as much as the next girl, but at the end when he implied that he threatened to takeout the next CIA tail they sent after him, I think the actual conversation was more akin to ; "Hey, let me know next time you send a tail. I was in Cuba... being FOLLOWED -you're lucky one of my assigned bodyguards didn't take the guys out. Next time we might not be so lucky."
