Tell us about your experiences voting within the "system" as it is

Here's mine,

I went to the polls today, had to wait in line about 20 minutes or so. The poll workers had provided tissues in case people were "paranoid" about the swine flu. I leaned over and told the poll worker, "I'm not paranoid about the swine flu, The vaccine is made of stuff that is even worse than the supposed disease." She just nodded her head at me. Anyway I get called to the voting booth, voted straight up Republican after having done my research and finding to the best of my ability that the candidates I voted for were liberty minded. There was a school board election as well between an insider and an outsider...I decided to give the outsider a chance since I actually got to meet her at one of the Republican Committee meetings, being a voting member of said body. Other than that, nothing notable, except after being handed a pencil from the insider's group (for school board), I ended up getting a small hole in the base of my first finger after bringing my hand down on the sharp side of the pencil by accident.
