Liberals ? ? ?
Have you forgot how they handled the republican primary ?
Screw them.
FOx is not a news service ....
Although the Fox network has been bleating about having to take a back seat to real news services, the simple fact is that Fox is not a genuine news service. A couple of years ago they went to court to argue that they could call themselves "Fair and Balanced" - not because they really were, but only because they had trademarked that phrase.
Last week Jon Stewart - whose comedy show actually gets more viewers than most Fox news readings - pointed out that the Fox network claimed to be a news network but only part-time, specifying about six hours a day that it was devoted to "news". Stewart showed that ALL of Fox's celebrities -- Hannity, Beck, et al. -- were outside the specified "news" hours and that the six news hours had on-screen people that Fox never bragged about and nobody had heard of. Moreover, those "news" hours frequently rehashed comments from the "opinions" hours and pretended they were news, e.g. recycling a Glen Beck bit of paranoia as "some people are accusing the Obama White House of ..."
There are lots of real news services around, and only limited seating at White Hosue press conferences and the like, so maybe it's time for Fox to learn that it doesn't have a divine right to sit itself among the grown-ups.
More proof that people are far too stupid...
...to have the power of government at their disposal.
