This is awesome stuff! Bill was running as a republican in the race and the county republicans were against him! And he won. Things are a changin!!

Way to go Bill. Erie is my hometown. This is really amazing because Erie is very Democratic...very. I guess the County isn't as much, but still, this is great. I've found 1 person in my high school on fb that supports Ron Paul. One. Looks like the paper sucks as much as it always did.
"Beeman has said he supports selling the county's library system and slashing state-mandated human services. Beeman is also accused of owing -- and refusing to pay -- $2 million in federal taxes." And this is all they say about him, nice.

You're right about Erie being very Democratic. I am the black sheep of my family. I think of myself as the only one with common sense. I will keep working on the family to see the light.
Recently saw another spectactular Presque Isle sunset. I think the sunsets in Erie were rated the second best in the country.
