I've been listening to c-span all morning and it looks like the 1990 page bill is going to the floor Saturday with enough votes to pass it.

Everyone knows tax feeders don't work weekends except at double or triple pay. This must mean the bill will unleash unheard of levels of campaign contributions from special interests. What better way to suppress the freedom movement's newly found ability to fund campaigns than to put the thumbscrews on an entire industry comprising about 15% of the economy. They're going to kill two birds with one stone. They're going to reap the windfall of contributions from big pharma (which is already huge) and they're going to demoralize the people by making them feel powerless to change things. Here we go again. That's worth the politicians showing up on a Saturday.

Just like all the other bad legislation that I try to stop from occurring.
However, and just like all the other legislation that I opposed in the past, if it passes, I just won't comply.
I don't need their health care, nor their insurance policies, and I can get care outside the loop, if I have to.
But, even if I couldn't, I'd rather die from illness than comply with their bullshit.
There are alot of non-compliers already out there, who have not been complying with their crap for a long time.
If nobody listens to their laws, then they can pass laws until doomsday, with no effect.
This was written about in a book, hundreds of years ago, as a counter to Machiavelli's writings.
The tyrant only gets his power when people will comply. His power comes from the people's compliance. If nobody complies, the tyrant has no power, no matter how hard he stomps his feet and screams.
