I am not the most tech savvy person here.
Can anyone explain why my screen name is showing up twice on the logged on list.

Maybe because

You're logged in twice.

One at work, one at home? Two different computers at home? Two different browsers - IE & Firefox?

It happens. There is also a 5minute cache, so if you logged in on IE, closed the window, then logged in under Firefox, that would do it, too.

The other possibility is that in addition to you, the CIA is logged in under your name.

p.s.

I only see you logged in once.

Thanks Michael

I thought it happened because I intermittently clear cookies. I had just cleared cookies, which requires logging back on here. It must have been that combined w/ 5 min cache. Boring. Wish it was the CIA thing it would help my super coolness.

No prob.

But be careful what you wish for !!!

I've been trying for some time to get Echelon to

show my phone conversations some love-no obvious luck yet. I'm hoping to take some heat off the important folks, kind of a human red herring trail. I'm also fond of orange jumpsuits-FREE!!

Because you're super cool

I mean besides obvious stuff like that

but thanks anyway, can't be pointed out too often.

Whatever caused it has stopped. Maybe I am no longer super cool.

Yeah. You start asking questions and coolness wanes

Just the way it goes. I still think you're super cool!

Got that right.

Coolness and not asking questions is mainstream. Asking questions is "Fringe" behavior. Good thing Cool, Super or otherwise was never a big priority because I have all kinds of questions, ask them all the time. Asked a lot of questions here the other day. Someone took issue--"umbrage" would be more appropriate for the issuetaker in question. Could be he wanted to protect any coolness I have/have left. More likely the problem was my questions were directed toward one of the new batch of topic police and one of the older batch of topic police was coming to the rescue.
