Good interview...

the bimbo looked like a deer in the headlights though. Maybe that's why they kept her kinda quiet.

woot

dylan's kind of a blowhard, but great stuff from ron. looking forward to 2012! Kim

"BUT YOU HAVE NOT LEARNED THE LANGUAGE YET"

Congressman Paul said it all in one line.
Msm, government, neocons, elitist, are going to find out that the people are learning the language better then they. People are fighting back and becoming knowledgeable of what is going on behind the scenes.
It is amazing how these two talking to Ron Paul are examples of the status quo following the msm. Miss Freelans remarks, unbelievable. "But isn't it better to keep printing money and evade the crash?" Typical comments from msm.
We have had enough and people are going to "REALly change" the government and the strings that control them.
Once again great job by Dr. Paul.
Let's continue educating.

Does Dr. Paul ever stop working?

Maybe take a small vacation and try to get some peace of mind.

But then again when you know and understand as much as he does about what is going in our government perhaps it's hard to rest.

What a driven, intellligent, honest and principled man.

I'm proud to say I support the best!

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."

Good question.

Nice post!

-I favor extending to Israel the same honest friendship that Jefferson and the Founding Fathers urged us to offer to all nations. ...This means I also favor discontinuing foreign aid to governments that are actual or potential enemies of Israel,--Ron Paul

Politicians today aim to grow our economy by burning our cities to the ground, instead they should take a lesson in economic theory.

what's with some women

what's with some women's innate trust in government? they always tend to argue there's a reason that a power authority did certain things and they never see the alternatives. is that a survival instinct kinda thing for weak minded people? to ask fewer questions and manipulate their own subconsciousness so they can naturally kiss up to their master?

I'll tell you whats wrong..

I'll tell you whats wrong.. she was brought up in the collectivist teaching, keynsian praising public school system run by the federal government.. thats her problem. she was not tought to think on her own. I'm sure she has some ivy league school pedigree. She's an idiot.. pure and simple.

A prudent man foresees the difficulties ahead and prepares for them; the simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences. Proverbs 22:3

You are right on the money...

She just does not get it.

I could barely listen to her ignorant, idiotic remarks to Dr. Paul.

I cringed when that

I cringed when that numbskull asked that mindless question! I do agree that women tend not to be libertarian minded at present. I think it may stem from family upbringing and knee-jerk reactions/solutions with nurturing overtones (what about the children?, outlaw drugs and there won't be drugies and pushers, guns kill not people, etc.) In this case, I believe that the media hires many women based on their looks and not necessarily independant critical thinking. A libertarian female likely wouldn't be hired or even applying (not that there aren't plenty of attractive libertarian females.)

The bottom line is that we libertarian-minded freedom loving people need to go forth and propagate! There is nothing like the family to foster correct political reasoning.

Couldn't agree more

Imagine being completely useless at your job like she is at hers. I could easily take her spot, make foolish comments and show up the next day with my job in tact... but I'm not very good looking :(

Honestly, Ron Paul works so hard, how does he have time for himself?

Damned if you do, damned if you don't

I've often thought women would be natural libertarians, since most would never go next door and use force on the neighbors the way men tend to do (seriously, check the prisons).

Certainly, in our social lives, women tend to be more tolerant, simply avoiding people they don't like, instead of clobbering them.

But, somehow, in the privacy of the voting booth, and without thinking of the ugly truth of their actions, many are willing to be as violent as men.

I'm convinced that if voting were done in public, and the consequences carried out in public, women would stop voting to use force.

There are also many fatherless women and children out there who are looking for a substitute. I would never call the cops on my child (if I had one) or any other child, but some women feel helpless.

We have more educational work to do.

Indulging your groupism with a little

foray into hostile stereotyping? "they"... "always"... "tend"..."they"..."never see"
It's the equivalent of a woman stereotyping men as natural aggressors, naturally violent, etc.
Why are some individuals so unable to comprehend individuality?

laff

haha, and i bothered to add "some" to avoid having my statement being interpreted as being a collectivist's statement, and i was afraid "some" (hey, here) who lack attention might misinterpret it anyhow but felt reassured once i thought of the fact that is is a RP forum after all, but it still happened, oh well. re-read the statement reedr3v, clearly i put "some" there to avoid involving unrelated individuals, that is likely a reason why the ones who replied to me under female user names didn't bother to bash me, because those individuals paid attention and understood i wasn't grouping any liberty minded female together. your post reads like a monologue against a piece of mirror. other than that, have a nice day.

then why not say "some people"?

What does being female have to do with it? And perhaps there are a lot more female libertarians than you realize. When I look into a mirror I see a female looking right back.

Now now

Devil's Advocate needs to be played, it's a great way to solidify which side is truth.

I dunno, the maternal

I dunno, the maternal instinct seems pretty authoritarian to me.

Dr. Paul

educating the masses!

I just called Mel Watt's office

I said to the guy who answered the phone that he should pull the Coongressman aside and ask for a couple hundred thousand dollars. I explained that NO political conviction or philosophy can lead a member to not be interested in opening the FED's books and that Congressman Watt has most assuredly recently come into some serious money. He said, "I promise that's not the case." I said, you have no idea what the case is. I'm just telling you if you were to say I know the deal Mel, give me some money and I won't mention it, that you'd probably get paid.
I hope he talks about it throughout the office. No reasonable person can not see right through this one.

Ratigan really gets it.

How come GE hasn't fired him already?

Sure does.

He's feeding Ron straight lines! B-)

Ron wasn't ready for "But what if you just decided you don't care about the children?" and had to work up something on the fly. Bet he'll have a zinger ready for it next time. (Maybe something about the bill coming due BEFORE you die and the kids end up with it.)

But the "there IS no collateral" anecdote on the credit default swap market and Ron's "illiquid -> worthless" comeback at the end was worth the wait. Take THAT!
