I Salute all you freedom loving patriots*))
Love*))

Pokerface just finished up their new CD, "Peace or War"
It ROCKS
This Ft. Hood shooting is what the Left's been waiting for
In January we all thought the anti-gun Obama administration would move quickly on new gun control laws. However they knew the shellacking they would get in 2010 so they decided to concentrate on the most radical parts of their Marxist agenda and our Second Amendment was safe for the moment.
We no longer have that luxury. The new draconian gun laws are coming, bet on it.
We might not make it to April for the Second Amendment March. We may have to move it up sooner. If 20,000 patriots can rally in DC with less than a weeks notice for the Death Care Bill, then surely we can muster the same for the Right to Keep Bear Arms.

well said patriot
They will use this to try to take the guns away from Americans - That is why I posted this great video to remind us all that we must resist such an occurance!
If they take your weapons away from you as Michael Jackson song goes - This Is It*))
Orwell is turning in his grave at what is going on-on this planet.

No offense...
but having had more than a little experience in that area, about the only thing an AR-15 is good for is if it is used as a crutch for the wounded.
Possibly a club... or it could double as a doorstop.
However, it looks good in the movies... :)

I'd have to disagree.
I think that an AR15 is the best individual combat weapon currently available.
The early failures in Viet Nam were primarily due to calcium content in the powder, and from an unchromed chamber corroding in humid conditions.
These were rectified early on.
The later problems were primarily in short-barrel carbines, where the gas system was not adjusted suitably for the change in pressure curve found at the shorter gas port.
These things have now been remedied.
It's a good weapon, highly accurate, reliable, has execellent handling characteristics and hit-probability, is light weight, and current MK262 ammo yields the best terminal effectiveness in an assault rifle cartridge, except for the unadopted 6.8SPC(which was designed to be used in an AR15 anyway).
It's extremely effective.
As for sand and dust reliability, all weapons are affected by it, even the AK, and the latest tests showed that the M4 proved out to be the best of all tested.
Nothing is perfect, but the AR15 is a fine weapon.
I like disagreements...
I'm far too young to be a ~nam vet, and it may be possible that the three theaters I was in with three different AR15's may have been a bad batch.
However if a weapon has almost gotten you killed once, you get leery of it.
Twice and you prefer a rock or a knife.. at least you know the result.
It is all well and good to read up on a weapon... it is pretty cool to read the paid-for reviews on it as well.
If it does not work in reality, however, then it really does not matter.
To each thier own, but I will not own an AR15.
If you want something dead close quarters, go with #1 buckshot.
If you want something dead further out, a 270 with Leopold optics.
If you are the type to play with military rangefinders and obscure 46.70 rounds in a 6k cannon, have fun with that.
It has also been my experience that the majority of people that know the stats on every weapon available to mankind could not hit the inside of a barn with a handgun or rifle if they walked inside one and closed the doors.
Stick with simple... make it work.
:)

I learned so much today - Thank you patriot*))

I used to be somewhat anti
I used to be somewhat anti AR15 however I finally broke down and tried them and they are a very versatile weapon. Plus they are the weapon of choice for most American patriots and they are kind of like the the IBM platform of rifles. Lots of people make parts for them and most of them are well made and interchangeable. That's what made me decide to try them out, if the SHTF everyone has them and there will be plenty of parts etc. for them etc.
The bugs were worked out of them a good many years ago and they are reliable, rugged, and tack drivers to boot, they will kill you just as dead as any other weapon and plenty of accessories to fit on them for what ever your fancy is.
