Jewish Dems denounce tea party signs about Rothschilds
Go figure: A Jewish Democratic group doesn't appreciate Tea Party signs a) saying President Obama "takes his orders" from the Rothschilds, the famous Jewish banking family and b) a mind-bendingly moronic poster showing dead Jews at Dachau, suggesting Americans will suffer the same fate under Obamacare.

Completely counter-productive
a) You can just say Rothschilds without saying Jewish. That's just asking for someone to call you a racist.
b) Anything short of voluntaryist gov't is a slippery slope to me. The day the Whiskey Rebellion failed put us on a slippery slope to an American Dachau.
You might as well be protesting gov't-coerced funding for libraries with Dachau pics for all the "educating" you'll accomplish.

I was there
I was there and I even helped secure the Dachau banner to the pole during the event. Using history, the graphic banner was giving Americans a visual warning of Big Gov. The claim of anti-semitism by jewish democrats is a smoke screen and many on this site bought it..hook line and sinker.
The Nazi's nationalized healthcare and in the name of efficiency and cost savings they started exterminating the handicaped under the "life undeserving life" mantra. Later the Nazi's passed a law that all healthcare workers must report all infants born with any defects despite the parents pleadings. Dachau was used to murder many German handicaped souls and is known as the first of the concentration camps to do it.
Now our own government has instituted those ideals, employed people who agree, in principle, to "death for effeciency sake" and set up the oraganizational and funding framework to carry out the philosophy.
The current healthcare bill sets up centers and funds them handsomely, the banner is a warning to us.

Its about PR, and convincing Joe Sixpack.
Claims linked to extreme possibilities don't seem to work very well, and you can expect the words to be manipulated, particularly if there is any Nazi reference.
Basically, protect yourself at all times - what you did was let yourself open for a kick to the groin and now are complaining that it isn't fair ( which it isn't, but it still works) .

I am not complaining about PR relations with the press or dems or repubs. I stopped worying about that a long ago because PC concerns just forces the truth into a small box that is defined by the enemy
Let them rant to the public, then explain it to the public and let them make the decision and let them be enlightened..or not. Cant reach everyone to correct the spin but those that find out the truth from the spin are not so easily fooled in the future.
My only disappointment was that some members of DP went along with the story' spin and they, above all, should know better..don't trust the press or the gov.

I even agree with you about truth being at the brink, and "political correctness" is about to push it over, and about the "anti-semite!" smokescreen. However, you all had to know this would be spun that way, and might have tried to re-work the message. All in all, I give you kudos, though. You got out there and tried to spread TRUTH even if it meant you stood alone.
Lead by example.

There were plenty of signs with that stuff there. The press did not analyze them did they? There was about 10-15 thousand folks there.
I did not even bring a sign, just a pink slip for the congressman. I did help secure the banner for the woman when it came loose though and did see some folks in wheel chairs with birth defects at the protest ..but again...no press coverage of their parents concerns of what Nationalized Healthcare might bring.
Interestingly , the Dachau banner is not all that extreme considering real possibilities: Recall Terri Schiavo was dehydrated to death over several days at court order and government guards. It has happened here and will increase in number. Morphine mercy killing in hospitals in more common than the public is willing to acknowledge.

I wonder about the "holocaust misuse" part. Many different groups were slaughtered wholesale by the Nazis. There have been countless group genocides in history. Do genocides have copyrights? If so, given that other groups were targeted by the Nazis and in large numbers, why is there a prevailing attitude that a particular group "owns" the rights to this example of mass genocide? Is it Holocaust TM?
Address all requests to use this copyrighted material and royalty payments to____________?
Also, is it misuse of evidence of a past genocide to try to avoid future occurrences? Would it be misuse to present examples, photographs of genocides, including the NAZI run genocide to protest new restrictions on gun ownership?
Am I now branded forever as an anti-_______ for asking these questions?
