Tea Parties: yay or nay?

I'm wary of participating in the tea parties. I'm afraid that the GOP is trying to hijack the freedom movement. What do you think? » |

I am going to stay away...I have heard one is gonna go off about illegal immigration. I just had nazi's near me protest that...I am sure they will be at the nearest Tea party w/swastika's on their sleeves for all the camera's to see. Since you are a racist for disagreeing the prez now, i don't see the tea parties getting a better image anytime soon.

If you don't go to Tea Parties
then you're LETTING the message be obscured. The only way Dr. Paul's message to be heard at Tea Parties is to GO THERE.
What you call "hijacking" is really just not enough signs with Dr. Paul's messages on them. Or not any anti-war signs. I haven't seen any tea partiers with pro-war signs or pro-Federal Reserve signs. So I dont see any evidence of real "hijacking."

I saw a sign that was broadcast on Freedom Watch that said "CIA Interrogators are Patriots".
I went to the pre-9/12 tea party in DC, and it was like 40-50% Ron Paul Patriots and the rest disillusioned Republicans/Neo-Cons. I didnt see too many bad signs, but I saw a lot of filth in the coverage of the big march.
