Orlando office shooting: Two dead, killer at large
At least two people have been killed and seven wounded in a shooting on Friday afternoon at an office building in Orlando, Florida, a spokesman for the fire department said.

Police surrounded a Florida high-rise office building after gun shots were fired.
The Legions Place building in downtown Orlando was ordered on lockdown as officers began a floor-by-floor evacuation.
Orlando Police Sgt. Barbara Jones confirmed that there had been shooting.
Vicky Robles, a spokesman for the local fire department, told a local TV station that the shooter remained at large.

ORLANDO, Fla. - One person was killed and at least seven were critically wounded in a shooting inside a downtown Orlando high-rise building Friday morning, authorities said. The suspect was described as on the loose and extremely dangerous.
The shooting began about 11 a.m. ET in the eighth-floor offices of an architecture firm in the Gateway Center at 1000 Legion Place near Lake Ivanhoe.
All of the victims were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

That fact that he's muslim, is to strengthen the reason to stay
in Iraq or Afghanistan. Especially for the people questioning the continued war and the recent high loss of casualties in Afghanistan in the last few months. Soldier's morale was low in Afghanistan, because the lack of support from the community. This event could surely be a cure for that complacency.

Yes, they are gearing up for the next step.
They are voting on the health care bill tomorrow. So, with that nearly put to bed, they are getting their scheduled shootings started a little early, so that they can make hay off them well before the next election, so they can get it pushed thru in time.
It took more time than they expected for the health care bill to get to a vote,and they learned from that. So, they needed to get some people shot right away, or they might run out of time to get their gun control agenda passed before they have to take time off for campaigning.

I dunno.
Perhaps they aren't going to vote tomorrow, but I think the basic premise that they think they've pretty much got that ready to go,and are ready to move on to the next task, is probably still about right.
