Open Letter to Ron Paul
Dear Ron,
I want to thank you for your tireless fight in exposing the unconstitutional FED system and calling for replacing it with "Sound Constitutional Money" Gold and Silver coin. (Article I sec.8)
As a champion of our Constitution, I am hoping you will champion another vital lost power in regards to the People's Second Amendment Right. The American People have suffered now for over one hundred years from an unConstitutional Act of Congress. I am referring to the Dick Act of 1903. As I am sure you know, Congress had no more delegated authority to write a Bill and rename the organized "Militia"(calling it now the ARMY National Guard) than they would have changing the word "President" in a Bill calling him now "Fuhrer"or"Caesar". Another violent abuse to our Right in this Dick Act of 1903, besides wrongly calling the ARMY's (national guard)the "Militia",is that they UNorganized those that are not part of the ARMY's national guard. Congress is given the responsibility and power to "To provide for organizing,arming,.... the Militia; not UNorganize them!(Article I sec.8) Congress(not the President) is also given the responsibility and power "To provide for calling forth the Militia (not the Army)to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;" The Founders in their wisdom, stated in our Second Amendment Right "A well regulated Militia, being NECESSARY to the security of a free State...." They knew it is the organized State Militia that would be the natural check and balance to a standing Army (controlled by a tyrant), an invading Army,etc. They knew as long as we had the organized State Militia, the People would be secure in their freedom and without it our freedom would be lost. Ron, as a champion of our Constitution, I am asking you to sponsor a Bill to repeal the unConstitutional Dick Act of 1903.

The Constitution delegates to Congress the power and THE DUTY to provide for an organized milita. This clause has never been retracted. So why is Congress not performing its DUTY? Our Congressional representatives must be reminded that they have taken an oath to the Constitution and that this duty is included part and parcel to that oath.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but the last time I checked, our Second Amendment Right does not say, "A well regulated Army, being necessary to the security of a free State...." or "A well regulated militarized Police, being necessary to the security of a free State....." but "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State...". This means a well organized State Militia is NECESSARY if we are to remain a free People, and therefore it is the right and duty of the People to keep and bear Arms. You can look at 300 years of Colonial and State law pertaining to firearms and you will not find ONE law that states an individual has a right to keep and bear Arms separate from their duty in Militia service. All males 16-60 were required to keep a military firearm and ammo at home. Did that mean they couldn't use it for self defense, duck hunting, deer hunting, etc.? Of coarse they could and did! Those today that argue on the "Individual Right theory" alone are ignorant of our history and law.
They are also losing this battle to the gun grabbers . The gun grabbers are "reasonably" regulating firearms right out of existence based on this "Individual Right theory". The State Militia servicemen and womens' military firearms are immune from ALL federal firearm laws. For more correct info. on the Second Amendment go to http://www.committeesofsafety.org

The events of the 20th century, and present day, the steady encroachment on our liberties, the incrementalism that threatens our future security, are exactly why they penned the second amendment.
