Militias: Citizen uprising imminent

The American people experienced eight years of authoritarianism under the tutelage of George W Bush Jr.-a President that was the most hated American on the face of the globe. To many people, President Bush and his administration symbolized everything that was wrong with America. He was called a despot, a colonialist, a tyrant, a hedge monger , and an iniquity of the Presidential office. But, no matter what history will write about George W. Bush Jr.-it will say that he carried out the wishes of Americans on September 11th 2001. A time when most Americans were screaming for revenge against terrorists and their supporting nations. A time when the American collective consciousness banded together under a single unification of thought-Revenge!

Barack Hussein Obama; a President that will go down in history as having caused the most widespread segregationist movement to ever hit the shores of America. No President, ever, in the history of the United States has created such an immense outpouring of hatred, and worship at the same time.

His supporters are quick to point out their god-like worship of him, and his critics are just as quick in pointing out their utter revulsion of him. But no one can argue the fact the he was voted into office in a landslide election. An election that saw a historical number of people voting for the first time in their lives. But perhaps, in the final analysis history will once again show that Barack Hussein Obama , like other unpopular Presidents, wasn’t such a good choice after all.

Constitutional State Militias are the only true militias. Get

I'm not sure the citizens' uprising militias are the real

content of your thread?

Huh??

Then what is the content-just asking as you confuse me with your reply.

Militias Aspect Non Existant

(A contrary opinon)

I do not think there is any militia interest increasing. I see only personal concern about firearms access. The personal access to firearms is what the Obama factor has influenced. Do not disreagard economic conditions as well.

To take the Obama influence that is specific to personal firearms and extrapolate that to any Militia movement I think is non-existant.

I think the article gives too much credit to Obama - I think it is general govt disatisfaction.

I think there is general political awakening that is going on and the issues that the article brings up are possibly pushing states rights issues to the forfront as the outlet that the awakened masses are leaning towards. I doubt Militia crosses anybodys mind. If it is reported then I think it is MSM made up junk.

The citizen uprising will be during the 2010 elections at the ballot box.

I thought Hawaii

wanted to secede?? That is a step over and around militia.

You're on an Island man. Come stateside

Heck it's in the News Papers where I'm from. Militias are popping up everywhere. They just aren't being real vocal because they are smart enough to know that the MSM will demonize them.

It dosen't mean they aren't amassing. By amassing I mean getting together to spread ideals and practice in case of emergency. the Militias are everyone..

We don't have intentions of attacking anyone or forcing Unconstitutional health care on you. We are here to protect the freedoms that the Constitution and bill of rights ensures as long as they are followed.

Much respect

Thank you for your comment.I wish people would see it as you have explained.
Instead, when the term is brought up you're looked at like you're crazy.
Remember I live in South Florida.Land of a million idiots more concerned with where they're going out to party than the real world or what's going on in it.

They have two issues.
constitutional militias at state level
sound money

To a degree, I agree...

...but militias are no more than a collection of folks who showed 'personal concern about firearm access'.

The BIG thing to remember is to keep your guns - at all costs. The militia thing will work itself out later.

I may not know the truth, but I know when I'm being lied to...

I may not know the truth, but I know when I'm being lied to...

A Corollary

You mention Keep your guns. I think a huge volume of current gun and ammo buys is people bringing forward potential purchases because they are afraid they will not be able to buy in the future.

The article didn't shock

The article didn't shock me-where it was is what shocked me.

Correction...

But no one can argue the fact the he was voted into office in a landslide fixed election.

They left out a word...

was I the ONLY American who . . .

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

(not daring to say whether 9/11 was an 'innie' or an 'outie')

did not think that anyone needed to be 'routed out' or attacked after 9/11?

I hope not. But, if so, well, so be it.

*I* didn't want us EVER to go 'over there', not even to look for Laden.

I wanted Americans to stay home and try to figure out what we could do to make ourselves a better nation. Pick up the pieces and go on with humility.

BUT, that said, if there is a politician I come close to hating it is the former Bush--the son . . .

his smirky, self-satisfied security that everything will be fine with him no matter what happens to anyone else.

Obama. I don't hate him. I don't love him. No worship, no vendetta.

But I feel sorry for him. He doesn't have the power and longevity of the Bush family behind him. He had a crack at being the 'change', and he chose to go with the big guys who funded and educated him (my belief)--

I think he has betrayed the people who hoped, as 'fellow' African descendants--

that he might help.

But I don't see any of the smirky lack of conscience in him. I think he has a conscience; I think he has just chosen to ignore it.

Bush was a tyrant. Obama is a sad figure.

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Your scorn is

misplaced, in my opinion. I think it needs to be directed at both Bushes, but definitely don't leave out senior. Jr. just plays at being daddy's little helper. But Sr. pulls all the strings.

No

You weren't alone. It never even crossed my mind that we needed to go to war, or chase Bin Laden. My first thoughts were that we needed to tighten up our intelligence and security because we were going to war on American soil and where is the military? Then my next thoughts, about a few hours later, was that Bush is an idiot and why didn't someone take him out yet. Then my next thoughts about it, after I learned a bit more, was that it was planned by "us" and that Bush is an idiot and why didn't someone take him out yet.

I do believe

Obama has just as much "power" behind him as Bush did. He has absolutely no experience and yet was catapulted to the top...and may not even be legally holdoing the job. That's takes people in high places...

I think he was put in place for the next "step" of the process. The overt socialist/communist/NWO step. Overt meaning out in the open, cloaked in the guise of Democrat/Liberal motives.

It was easy for him to win because of Bush's non-poplar stance...Republicans out, Democrats in. Same game - same game - same game.

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.
Ron Paul - The Revolution

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms. Ron Paul

oh, I do agree with that completely--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

no doubt about it. I'm not 'defending' his politics or even his presidency at all--

I am just saying that as a person he is sadder--

because I think that underneath all of that he lacks the same smirky (sorry to keep using the same word) audacity that Bush has/had.

Underneath I think he could have done good things; that is what makes it sad.

But, he didn't; he couldn't have; I knew that he would "turn" and keep the war going and help topple America; I knew it, but he's not so--

SMUG, yes, smug as Bush.

He could have been a 'human being'--

so, sad--

that's all--

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

I think Jr. is smug because he knows

daddy is the big man. He is very comfortable that they have everyting sewn up, cause daddy says so. And mommy agrees.

Obama is cocky and he doesn't SEEM to have the basic foundation support Bush has, but I think his support is secret. I also think he is cocky and acts super confident, but that he really, really isn't and faces his demons when he is alone at night. The way he is overly calm, smiles too much, says shallow stuff, struts back and forth with his shoulders when he walks, cocks his head way back and looks down his nose and chops off every sentence to make his point all smacks of fake confidence to me. I don't think he is really who he looks like.

Seems

Like you are referring too the emotional mechanics of the two men.

I don't believe it has anything to do with one being more tyrannic or evil then the other.

George Bush was absolutely terrible at hiding nervousness, he got the nervous smile, his eye's would have a weird deer-caught-in-the-head lights, he would even squirm, while standing up and on camera. He did this almost every time I remember him speaking, These were all the hallmarks of a deceitful person, or lier.

Barrack is stone cold emotionless. This is why he is such a rock star for the media, he can say absolutely anything he want's with a strait face, which makes it believable. even after his mile long list of lies were uncovered after the campaign, he still marches on lieing strait to all our faces day in and day out, and 50%+ are still buying it. He's good at what he does, make no mistake about it.

Sadly

I have to agree.
