Final Round!!! Ron Paul vs. Sarah Palin: Who is best presidential choice for conservatives?

Ron Paul clearly won rounds 1 and 2 of TCU Nation's "The Best Conservative President" poll. This is the final round. Many on the TCU are skeptical of Ron Paul and believe Paul can not get enough votes to win an election. Put this doubt out of their minds by casting an overwhelming amount of votes on their poll. Educate these people with your votes and your comments on the poll. Ron Paul is the best chance to reclaim the American republic....open the eyes of the TCU Nation!!! Please keep this bumped so can have everyone voting for Dr. Paul. CAST YOUR VOTE FOR RON PAUL
TCU Nation is conducting a poll of who would be the most conservative presidential choice for the 2012 election. There seems to be many Republican Robots belonging to this site. Even when Ron Paul wins they still try to marginalize him

So he wins this poll, that admittedly was a bot battle, and they show Palin's Photo first and put two stars on her photo.

Not to mention this post

apparently they're all innocent over there.

Poll Closed

Palin quit the last job she was elected to.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

I'm replying to the post below mine

that thinks we are skewing the votes thru some manipulative process -

I want to hurl when I see a poll for POTUS that pits Palin against Paul!
It is embarrassing that someone with so much experience & intellect would be pitted against such a greenhorn. We would be the laughing stock of the world!!!! What kind of foreign affairs & economics experience does Palin have? How much experience in the District of Criminals does she have? Isn't she admitting with her own lips & pen how pushed around she was in the campaign? Did anyone ever push Ron Paul around? I
SHUDDER to think that if a choice like this ever comes to pass, that Palin would triumph over Paul. How, in this universe, could ANYONE vote for Palin over Paul? She should have been decimated in this poll.

Palin has her own merits, but they are miniscule compared to Ron Paul's.

Thought this was funny....

Greetings fellow conservatives from the Palin camp from afar. As everyone knows, this pool has been highly manipulated and I am one who has taken part. I would like to point out that we of the Palin camp do not attempt to manipulate polls unless they have already been manipulated. Governor Palin, in general, needs no help in getting good poll results.

This present poll was obviously manipulated before we even arrived. 18% for Sarah Palin is clearly not a representative figure even in the rock bed of Ron Paul territory.

Let me clearly express that we highly respect Ron Paul as a conservative who has strong fundamental conservative values and high Christian principles. I would certainly vote for him were he the only candidate.

However, although Ron Paul has strong moral principles, the Robovoting Ron Paul followers have a different reputation (witness the NPR poll of the "Final Four" last March). They have a known reputation for manipulating polls.

This pool will obviously be non-interpretable has it all boils down to who has more computers at their disposal.

All this aside, our best to Ron Paul, Governor Palin, and all true conservatives!

Damn people....

I was just reposting the crap that was on the TCU comment section... Let me assure you that I am not the original poster of this nonsense...

Greetings back. Just

Greetings back. Just curious, as a conservative, what is it that makes you support Palin over Paul? Is it out of concern Paul won't win anyway, and is basically a wasted vote, or are there actual areas of Paul's program where you feel Palin has better solutions?

From where I'm standing, it seems the ex Governor is deliberately leaving policy open for now, which I would take as an invitation to her supporters to show her in which direction they would want her to lean. Based on that, if I was a true, traditional conservative, I would take that as an invite to encourage her to seriously consider as many of Dr. Paul's prescriptions as she thinks she can get away with. Popular as she is, she won't win anything all on her own, and if she is truly as conservative as you seem to indicate (And as her supporters hanging out on RP forums indicate she may well be), I believe ours should be the camp she tries to court additional support from, rather than the Romneys, Giulianis and Perrys of the world.

Is it a poll

or a pool? Make up your mind.

Find a poll that prevents cheating

Find a poll that prevents cheating and you will find Ron Paul getting 75% or more of the vote vs Palin.

This poll was going vastly in favor of Ron Paul before about 1,500 votes came in for Palin in under 2 hours.

If you look at the previous polls, Sarah Palin's numbers were about the same in each one, while Ron Paul picked up votes from those who voted for others in the earlier rounds.

A number of people asked the poll creator to reset it and monitor IP addresses. This was not done.

The only way Palin wins any polls is when Ron Paul is not listed.

BTW, she is not Governor Palin, she lost that title when she quit the office.

CBS Poll: Less Than 1 in 4 Have Favorable View of Palin

Just 23 percent of those surveyed in a new CBS News poll have a favorable view of the former Alaska governor.

Most Americans do not want to see Palin run for president in 2012. Two in three say they don't want to see a Palin run, while 24 percent say they would like to see her jump into the race.

Republicans are divided: Forty-four percent want Palin to run, but even more -- 48 percent -- do not. Democrats, independents and even conservatives oppose a Palin run, while white evangelicals favor it by a slim margin, 48 percent to 42 percent.

Bumping this

Keep this going, we can't let their scripting win this.

On firefox, to vote multiple times, because this poll is already compromised:

Go to the page, copy the address bar.
Vote for Ron Paul.
Hit ctrl + shift + delete.
Hit enter to delete the cookies from the last hour.
Go to the address bar, paste the old address, hit enter.
Repeat many times.

Screw them, the one Palin supporter is using three computers at once to vote continually. They're all getting 7 votes or so per second and we're barely in the lead.

still losing ground
Go vote, if you haven't
We're losing to their macros.
I know it's just a game now.

We need to be far more active in voting!

Where is everybody???

I already voted once.

I will not attempt to cheat and vote again. Here's my take on it: This may be some unimportant poll, the results will not affect our lives positively nor negatively; however, would I not be a hypocrite if I complained about my politicians' underhanded, dishonest tactics if I chose to practice the same thing myself? Do I have a right to complain about hackable electronic voting machines/fradulent elections if I engage in fraud myself? To me it's a matter of character--it's the principle of the thing.

Cheating or playing the game?

If this was trying to be sold as an accurate poll I would fully agree with you, however both sides know that it is not and has become a battle to see who has more determined supporters. If it is established that this is not an accurate poll to see how many individuals vote for a candidate yet to see who is more determined I don't see too many moral implications to restrict one from playing the game.

Know your stuff, learn real history and economics @LibertyClassroom.com

I just hope the creator throws out the whole thing

It is obvious that the results cannot be trusted.

As reported here on DP, Ron Paul was leading with legitimate votes along the lines of the previous poll's total votes.

At 5:29 PM Eastern
On November 10th, 2009 Habit4ming says:

Ron Paul 81% 1023 votes
Sarah Palin 19% 238 votes

Then, 1 1/2 hours later Palin leads with more additional votes than had been cast in total 1 1/2 hours earlier.

On November 10th, 2009 fleshmj says:

Sarah Palin 52% (1,518 votes)
Ron Paul 48% (1,428 votes) at 4:02 PST 11/10/09

Then it was off to the races with the macros or bots or whatever.

The creator needs to just kill this thing now and start over and monitor IP addresses.
