Continental Congress begins Wednesday, Nov. 11

Well, it's finally here! Continental Congress 2009 will convene tomorrow at Pheasant Run Conference Center in St. Charles, Illinois. All 50 states (except North Dakota, who did not have any nominees for CC2009) will be represented tomorrow and continuing though until Nov 21st. The delegates will checkout on Sunday, Nov 22nd.

I have been assured that CC2009 will be webcast live. We still need more donations to make the $650K budget. If the budget is not met, then one or more of our patriots will mortgage their property to obtain the money necessary to run CC2009 live on the internet. So, if you can afford another $25 or more to contribute, please consider doing so at this time.

I have waited to send an email in hopes that I could attach the link for you to use for the live webcast but, it is getting late and I thought I would communicate with you to assure you that CC2009 WILL go on!!!

Please pass this email on to your friends as well. Put CC2009 on your Facebook, Twitter, Linked, accounts - etc. Publicize CC2009 to all you come in contact with. Print up some slim jims and carry a small stack with you where ever you go, hand them out to people.

This Continental Congress is working. Good minds actively coming together. First issue they are trying to support is to support all cases or Taitz case of making sure suits are heard that are brought concerning Obama's eligibility. They are voting on this now.

My understanding is that the results of CC2009 will be presented to the government as some sort of official complaint for redress, most likely with some type of ultimatum on it too. Similar to the petition that was given to Britain when it was violating the colonists rights. I believe it acts as some type of official warning from the people.

They have gone to dinner and come back at 8:15 tomorrow.

As far as your question Jive, it is my understanding that this vote would simply "support" one or all (depending on the final motion) cases that question our presidents eligibility. As far as changing life as we know it, no change that I see other than basically pressuring judges to listen to cases that are brought on this issue. They dismiss for no standing and if the Continental Congress supports the cases, the hope is that the judge will be persuaded that we do have standing.

I'm so thankful that Badnarik was chosen President. LOL He at least seems to know what he's doing and should keep it more organized and grounded.

I can't even imagine how tough this must be for the delegates, especially those not familiar with procedure. They are so ready to go and get it done, but to keep it valid they have to stay restrained by all of the red tape.

Why is there no audio while in session? Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of transparency? Wouldn't that kind of make it a little too much like DC is now, no accountability? I'm not understanding why they would do that but am hoping that its just an issue with the audio instead.

I think it means there is too much noise and private group discussion, but not sure. But I guess the votes they take will be taped. Perhaps also it has something to do with how long they can pay for the live stream, but I hope not, I assume not.

Yeah, I'm not real big on the secrecy thing. But really, would it cost them oh so much to leave a mike on? Maybe you're right. Maybe they're split into groups or something and there would be just noise, but I'd think that since they are broadcasting a video loop that it would be just as easy to leave the mike on instead. And, a whole lot more transparent. I didn't spend my time and effort talking to people about the CC2009, encouraging them to vote, explaining the importance etc.,just to be shut out like we are in DC. Its kind of offensive really . . . just my unbiased, rotten opinion.

All I have seen from them is pass it around, send all info to your emails and your meetups and your other blogs. They have done what they could, far as I know, to spread the word.

I heard a delegate on Coast to Coast tell George Noory and was shocked that George Noory did not even know about it. That was about three days before it started.

I haven't heard anyone else mention it, but I don't really watch tv.
