I don't get Jon Stewart

Let me preface this by saying I like Jon Stewart but I definitely liked him much more when Bush was in office.
Now he is an Obamamaniac 90% of the time and 10% of the time he tells it like it is.
Last night he made a great comparison of the buildup of the collapse of the USSR in the 80's to our current situation in America...i.e. fighting an unwinnable war in Afghanistan, huge gov't spending, and a charismatic leader who promises change.
But he will be back on the Obama bandwagon tonight.

I've always been a fan of
I've always been a fan of only about 10% of what he says. His love affection towards Obama is sickening and his craving for socialized medicine is a huge turn off.
Entertainment
I don't care who it is... include Ron Paul... Ralph Nader, who I look up to as leaders.. when it's on MSM it's ENTERTAINMENT.
Agree or not... they all get paid, or they promote their books, their bills.. and it's all entertainment.
It's all soap.
Stewart is an entertainer and he's very dgood because he knows, TRUTH is funny. So he uses it as ENTERTAINMENT, that's all.
That's all it is.

During the 2004 election he started out by making jokes against bush and kerry... but after John Kerry appeared on his show he gunned for republicans a good 90% of the time. This shouldnt surprise you honestly.
He's an entertainer
and a New York leftie. I think he is good for a laugh occasionally. Sometimes he hits a major home run. However, I have always known his politics and my politics do not meet anywhere near the middle.
He has made fun of Obama and his policies but overall he acts like he hung the moon. He and Colbert insult anyone who is against the government taking over our lives.

When he has guests like the abominable Janet Napolitano and Al (I'll tax your breath) Gore, I really feel the urge to vomit. Nothing the Feds are involved in is funny anymore to me. It is deadly serious. DEADLY!

gold standard
I heard him use the gold standard as the butt of a joke recently...no, it was people who support the gold standard as the butt of his joke. And I thought, that's not cool...he's essentially insulting us...which comes off as a disappointment after some favorable interviews with our man.
Comedians need to make jokes...at anyone's expense...so it's fair game. And I still like the entertainmant value of his show overall. Still...
