That's pricy. The only
That's pricy.
The only silver that I have ever overpaid for was 2 different Ron Paul silver rounds.
Paid $100 for the Silver&Copper Norfed's that were confiscated and just the other day I paid $40 for a different RP round.
well
the only reason i am selling it a little steep is because there really isn't many of these around, also it is 5 ounces its huge, but really i don't think its a bad deal theres another on ebay same thing for like 500 bucks, thats a big ripoff. i am not necessarily selling for the spot value of silver i am really selling it because there aren't many and it is sorta rare

If you can get more than 3x
If you can get more than 3x spot value for it, more power to you, There's a sucker born every minute, and they show up on ebay all the time (never for my auctions though!) :o)
I wouldn't expect more than $100 for it though. The curiosity value is what would drive it any higher. There was a substantial curiosity value to these right after the FBI raid on Liberty Dollar, but I don't know if it's there any longer.
Silver is silver
Me thinks you value the coin more than anyone else does.
$329.00 is much higher than the bullion used to make the coin. The coin value is insignificant.
Not trying to bash your auction. I am a pawn broker and have been buying an selling metals on a daily basis since gold was under $300.00 oz.
In my pawn shop the coin is worth $100.00 wholesale $175.00 retail. My experience on ebay is the coin unless a TRULY rare coin is worth its bullion/scrap value. NO MORE than that.
yeah..
I just lowered the starting bid again and buy it now price, the thing is silver is going up, plus we payed like 185 for this 4 years ago.

Friendly advice.
Metals are a commodity. When I buy I don't care if I am buying a 10K 2.2 gram ring or an 1 OZ Krugerrand. To me they have the same bullion value. Some will argue I must smelt the ring thus not worth as much. But the fact is I get gold smelted for a fraction of 1 percentile.
In the future when you buy DO NOT pay for coin or numismatics value.
For those who really want to buy gold purchase a large heavy duty magenet. Gold in not magnetic this is the first step jewelry must pass. If it sticks, YOUR STUCK! Don't buy it.
You will then need a stone to take a rubbing of the jewelry and bottle of gold acid. It come in 10K, 14K, 18K 22K and 24K.
Use a loop to check the markings and drop one drop of acid on the marking on the stone. If the ring for example says 14K and when you drop the 14K acid on the marking and it stays, you got 14K. If it disappears then try 10K. If it disapears again, DON't buy it.
Great advice - thanks
Where would you buy silver & gold coins - Eagles etc.
