Where does Liberty End and personal responsability begin?
Was H1N1 our chance at a practice run?
Someday, there may be a virus that is much more deadly than H1N1, I will call it H2N2.
1. Recently, a man was traveling on an overseas airline with resistant tuberculosis. After it was discovered, the other passengers wanted him prosecuted. Was that reasonable of them?
2.Let us say your child is hospitalized and has an extremely weakened immune system. Would you want the workers in that hospital immunized for H2N2? Wouldn't it be irresponsible for that hospital to allow workers that were not immunized to come in contact with the patients?
The hospital worker has the freedom to look for other work or receive the vaccine. Is that fair?
3. Should you have the right to decide if your child is vaccinated for H2N2?
What if your child contracts the virus and dies? Should you be prosecuted?
4. Your personal doctor advises you not to give the H2N2 vaccine to your daughter. Should he lose his license? If your daughter dies because of this advice, should he be prosecuted?
5. You are not a doctor and you produce and disseminate videos that advise people to not vaccinate their children for H2N2 for various unsubstantiated reasons.
Firstly, should you be allowed to do so?
Secondly, if the children of many of people that follow your advice die, should you be prosecuted?
Maybe, the subject of vaccination is not as simple as it seems, especially in terms of personal liberty?
