A moment of silence for the
DC sniper who was executed last night in VA. Unfortunately, the governor thought it best, even though he could do no harm in jail, to execute him. The victims families had the nerve & gall to watch, for some reason it makes them feel better to watch someone die & they'd rather do that than be in their warm homes watching tv.
It seems to me if the government doesn't condone killing, by making it a crime & sending you to jail for it, it shouldn't execute either. What's good for the goose isn't for the gander.
And, WHY is it legal for the government to kill, noone gets in trouble for killing our soldiers in I/ I/ A, but for some reason when someone goes crazy w/ a gun where we don't expect, they get the book thrown at them & executed? I don't see anyone on PA Ave or Congress/ Senate having to take responsibility for all the fatalities of our occupations.
We are taught in our religion to believe in life after death, after all, that's what heaven is. Why not have ghosts a part of life after death. When are these soldiers going to start haunting us? Anyone heard of any sighting in WDC? Maybe governor kaine will be haunted after this. He thought it was so impt. to execute someone, it seems like he can deal w/ the consequences, ghosts aren't subject to laws, there's nothing you can do about them.
