I am going to recant on my earlier feeling about the
the 'Christian' references inserted.
Though I realize when Adams referred to America as a Christian nation, they were NOT referring to what the church's dogmas were, but to the 'early' Christian movement that was 'underground', that existed way before even Yeshua himself, before the church ever came on the scene.
THAT Christianity was the Gnostic Christianity whose teachings viewed humanity as 'sovereign' and each responsible for their own destiny without interference, without enforced bondage to another, and that it was possible to cleanse oneself of their selfishness so they could become fully enlightened human beings whose deeds would forever work for 'freedom' of the human on the planet and protect that 'with their lives'.
The mere fact that these 'enlightened' founders could even arrive at the 'idea' that 'we derive our un-alienable Rights from our Creator', is a deeply held Gnostic Christian percept. This was a direct affront to the pope. Please know this.
This in itself is 'universal' isn't it? The only ones who would want this stricken would be those who wittingly or unwittingly work for continued bondage of the human being.
Certainly the early 'church' never, never taught these percepts and would like to see them removed if at all possible and they did in the 4th cent. That also excluded the doctrine of 'reincarnation', which to this day the 'Christian' church does not adhere to.
When I think upon these things, I feel those who are 'seeing to it' there at the Continental Congress, that this be included are being true to that spirit and are fulfilling this in the highest good of the 'nation'.
I support this and I agree that this nation is a 'true Christian' nation in terms of the 'Gnostic'. I understand that the early Christian movement was 'co-opted' by Constantine and since then has caused more death, destruction and corruption of the good than any other 'religio-organization'.
That is why I would never, could never join a 'church' period!
I will re-iterate that I in no way wish to name call or point fingers. I believe that most of those people that attend these churches are good, good people. Loving people, caring people. That I have no doubt.
However, those who 'run' those church organizations at the very top, I call them into question.
Therefore, I have no compunction whatsoever with the Christian references. If I were a delegate I would gladly sign.

I came to the liberty mind set through Jefferson and Franklin
so 30 years ago. I am a big fan of the enlightenment and the resulting freedom when it cast off the shackles of an overbearing church. However, man's actions in the name of Christianity are not always in keeping with its true meaning.
I recently learned of the four hidden dynasties that are at work in trying to bring about the NWO. This new perspective has led me to believe that none other than Satan himself is behind the corruption at the very top including the FED the MSM, the false teachers and the NWO.
Learn the Parable of the Fig Tree and The Key of David, the Key of Knowledge. It is the key that "Opens the door that no man shuteth, and shuteth the door that no man openth"! Beautiful Wisdom!
Those of the dark known as Belial (unsound reality), knew the
Gnostic teachings inside and out.
They found a way to harness nature's bountiful abundance in the most egregiously selfish ways. Some call this 'sorcery' but it is all about messing with the minds of others so they in essence become 'mentally blind' and cannot see the very evil taking place because a portion of their mind had been held frozen by a certain 'thought' that said it be so.
Yet there were those of 'the light' whose enlightened perceptions were 'sound'. There remain many of those walking the planet today. They are involved in the highest and the lowest levels of our society. Working for freedom in all its forms.
Keep in mind Constantine was once an 'initiate' of the mystery school. (So was Plato and his teachers btw) He must have done something pretty egregious for the elders to banish him! He went on to become Roman emperor and would seek to massacre all those who were these Gnostics.
That is why the Cathars were massacred in the 13th cent. in the south of France at Montsegur. They lived the teachings and did not 'recognize' the King or the pope. According to these 'free' ones, the King and Pope had no legitimacy nor any moral authority to do what they were doing to enslave human beings.
(Just a little aside here. In the film, 'Star Wars', Annikin was banished from the Jedi and went on to fight against the light. It would seem since his father was Darth Vadar, he received 'evil' in his genetics) Think about this. Why are we all being 'pressured' into polluting our blood with these disgusting vaccines? I believe the writers of this film were trying to tell us something.

Sounds similiar to the Kenites who are the children of Cain
whose father was Satan. The real story behind the Garden of Eden was that Satan seduced Eve and she gave birth to twins by two different fathers - Adam was the father of Abel and Satan was the father of Cain. God put enmity (or hatred in the Hebrew) between those to seed lines. Of course the hatred manifested itself in the first generation when Cain killed Abel. This is the beginning of the epic battle between good and evil that has been going on ever since.

The 'end of the world' is not the end of 'our' world. It is the end of the 'unsound' world and all those who maintain it.
In the War Scroll of the Dead sea scrolls. These sons of Belial also known as the 'Kittiim'(cultists), shall all be annihilated without a remnant! They are freaking out right now because they know who they are and they know what this means. The Rockefellers and the Vatican own these scrolls, but it wasn't until the early 80's that Hebrew scholars were finally allowed to get in there and translate the meanings. There we have it now.

Are you familiar with the Three World Ages
We are in the second now. Here is a brief overview.
To fully understand the Bible it is essential to know about the three world ages and the major events of each. In the first world age God created the heaven and earth as well as all his children. As part of this age he created an angel named Satan to guard his throne. From Ezekiel 28, we learn that God blessed this highest angel with special beauty, power and riches. However over time, Satan became so proud of his special gifts he decided he not only wanted to guard God’s throne, but he “set his heart as God” and wanted to sit on the throne and be God. In the process of this rebellion, Satan convinced a third of God’s children to follow him. This upset the natural order of the world to such an extent, that an angered God overthrew Satan and completely destroyed the first world age.
Since he did not want to destroy any of his children that followed Satan, God created a second world age including plan to save as many of his children (or souls) as possible. Thus God created a second world age where all his children would pass through this life of flesh and given a chance to choose to follow either God and Satan.
Even though God sentenced Satan to death after his rebellion, he allowed him and his spirits to continue to exist for the sole purpose of a fair and equal testing of God’s children through their life in the flesh. Never the less, Satan in his total corruptness and pride still wants to be God. Therefore, since the begining of the second earth age Satan has tried many times to disrupt, thwart and stop God’s plan which he knows will end with his certain death.

Thanks for the history lesson! I'd never examined it that closely, or from that perspective. Now the Gnostics I can get behind. I have always appreciated their philosophy and practices. I"m not sure I can participate in the fasting and prayer since its just not my way, but I can understand wanting to perpetuate the sentiment behind a gnostic form of christianity. Thanks. I needed a new perspective!

I believe there are those at the Continental Congress
that must know this history. They hold and know what had taken place in our world. Our founders were the 'place holders' for these very deeply beautiful teachings that were persecuted for thousands of years on this planet.
One day when the time is right, the entire story will be allowed to be told.
But, right now, we are in an ideological war and until the many 'wake up' and use what G-d has given each to enable us to discern right from wrong, good from evil, moral from the immoral, we may be found worthy of our 'sovereignty' at which point those who lust for power over others will doom themselves.
There is no need for any of us to use violence. They will bring it upon themselves.
Installing a 'prayer' can be a beautiful ritual whose intentions is to remind the unconscious that its intentions are moral ones. This helps to 'magnetize' the many into the one intent.
It would seem that those with 'less intent' would be repulsed by this ritual. Would it not?

I am wondering about using 'signing statements' as the recent
presidents have taken to using on bills! If, (and I say IF not having read the rest of the document) the rest of the document is fine---could we sign it using a statement that we don't wish to take part in the fasting and prayer, that we don't agree with this?
I am a Christian, so please realize that not all Christians would think adding fasting and prayer to this would be good!
I did hear Catherine Bleish' amendment to correct extreme language in the original and it sounded great to me.
I will be interested to hear the views of those of you who were able to follow the whole exchange at the last.

From the 2004 Religious stats and percent of total US population
Christianity - 224,437,959 - 76.5%
Nonreligious - 38,865,604 - 13.2%
Judaism - 3,995,371 - 1.3%
I wouldn't dismiss 76% of the population and the power of God as frivolous, and I certainly wouldn't call it detrimental!
Keep in mind, RP is a Christian and it's very possible more participation from this largest voting block of all - could be the big bomb that blows the NWO to hell and back!

From a historical perspective, you might want to read up on the religious convictions of the majority of Founding Fathers at the first CC - it was a Christian centric event!

2. Congress shall make no law establishing a national religion-- means anybody is free to practice whatever religion they themselves decide on, or to practice no religion at all. It's a Personal choice and Not a governmental choice as it was/is in some countries.
Please remember the purpose of the Constitution.

What if I told you that the 'early' Christian' Gnostic movement
was NOT a religion. It was a philosophy and it allows for the soul to freely choose knowing full well that the Universe will react accordingly and cause the necessary consequence of the thought and deed.
Yeshua himself warned against 'religion' because it always 'excluded' others and this was simply wrong. Each human was 'created' equal is a reference to each soul. Each soul has its own unique destiny on earth and has an inherent right to seek wisdom so that it may find its way back to G-d (enlightenment). The ONLY way to do that is to cleanse oneself of selfishness. Remember what he said. "I am the Way, the truth, and the life".
We may LIVE these teachings and thus become enlightened, if our soul seeks and chooses.

Oh Dear! I missed the very end of CC2009 as my company
arrived for Thanksgiving week----so thanks to you all for your enlightening posts! I haven't seen the document that came out of this---but I am distressed-----due to reports from those who have.
One of the last parts I was able to watch was the plea from the Idaho delegate for fasting and prayer-----and I wasn't concerned, as I was sure that our delegates wouldn't buy into this!

No, they passed the damn thing. The Christian segment took advantage of the atmosphere at the time to slam it through, in my opinion. On top of the neutering that the lawyers did previously, it effectively weakened the document to the point of useless and alienated anyone else who would have signed on. Well, other than the Christians anyway. I am hoping they will come to their senses and find a way to get rid of the language so we can encourage our Jewish, Pagan, Muslim, Atheist, etc. brothers and sisters to sign on.

I still have positive feelings that something
can be gained out of what has been done during CC'09. The delegates got to know each other on a personal basis. I won't sign-on to what is before us but hopefully in the near future wording will be corrected.
