Video: Rand Paul to Meet w/ Mitch McConnell this Friday

I am glad to see Rand doing so well. I've heard too many naysayers, who say you can't just jump right into the senate without first holding some other prestigious office like member of the house of representatives, but I think Rand Paul will prove them wrong.

McConnell begs to meet with Rand this week to try to not look so neo-connish and try to save his own 2014 election.

Best interview yet! Rand has got what it takes, and now meeting with McConnell... I really think he's going to win. I'm in Northern Ohio... gotta head down to KY and see this liberty candidate in action!

Thanks Michael. Meeting with McConnell is another excellent move by Rand. He is solid in fundraising (which is everything to McConnell) and the polls. Rand's not afraid of McConnell and will speak fearlessly to him because he knows he's got tremendous grassroots support. And It's fine if Rand promises to support McConnell as Minority Leader because doing so demonstrates his loyalty to Kentucky. We, of course don't doubt that but remember that's one of the avenues of attack Grayson is using.

Say what you will about McConnell but he's not a stupid man. He knows which way the wind's blowing and he knows that DeMint's group is possibly leaning towards endorsing Rand.

This is all good news but to be on the safe side perhaps a phone/email/fax bomb to McConnell's office to ask him to support Rand wouldn't be a bad idea.

Terrific video, Rand, now be ready for McConnell, the guy's a wheeler-dealer.
