I think Lou was asleep and now he is awake. Can't wait to see where he goes from here. I have wondered for a long time how the msm does it. They can't all be ignorant to whats really happening. They must get 50 thousand email a day. Maybe the next Alex Jones.

Maybe he has a hidden agenda ....
Lou Dobbs may have had another reason (other than "disgust" at the current leaders) for quitting CNN. There have been a lot of complaints that his commentary is better suited to Fox News. He may be holding out for more money or a better deal with another network.
He may also be hoping for a political run, although once he's in office, he's a fair target for criticism from other broadcast commentators.
I liked the Chris Brown and
I liked the Chris Brown and Rhianna, Michael Jackson new updates at the bottom of the screen. Very informative and obviously more important than anything else going in our corrupt world. I guess that is the only news that the average person is interested in, good job society.

Jeez, with so little truth going on out there, you'd think there'd be people chomping at the bit to expose some things. He's a freaking journalist and should say more than "strong wind of change"...have some courage.

If the government rounded me up, sure I'd be scared, but I'd also be partly relieved to discover some truth...further, I'd be motivated to survive so I could tell that truth.

He is speaking out. Basically, the subtext of what he's saying is that they won't let him tell the truth at CNN. How do you speak out about that when you've already been shot at and probably had your life, and the lives of your family, threatened for telling the truth as it is? I don't believe that anyone knows who fired the bullet, or why. I don't think I'd take my chances either until I had some means in place of making sure that those that I love, and I, were well protected first. Just my unbiased rotten opinion.

I had a feeling Dobbs wouldn't be around much longer, after he was talking ab out quite a few subjects you aren't supposed to mention on MSM.
The shooting at his house last month (blamed on his anti-illegal immigration stance as cover) was for sure intimidation.
People need to be getting behind live shots taking place behind the news anchors and just blasting messages like "9/11 was an inside job" or "The War on Terror is a Hoax" and eventually they'll have to cover it because it will become such a circus.
The best thing to do is watch your 5 or 6'o clock live news when they announce they'll be somewhere live, and just show up.
We shouldn't even allow Murdoch and a few others to own our news anymore- he's obviously turned the country into an Orwellian nightmare, it isn't right.

He mentioned political, business, and media leaders
The subtext is that there isn't something drawing him toward other pursuits, but the powers who don't like his message are pushing him away from CNN.
The drive-by shooting was notably absent from any mention. Only LEADERS are mentioned as having any influence on his decision.

and tow an anti-illegal immigration line for too long. This type of talk had to be stopped and so Ted Turner and Mr. Klein had "discussions" with Mr. Dobbs... I am afraid that Lou will either run for U.S. Senate or perhaps for POTUS.

And so should you! He supported Ron Paul (although, not publically), he has libertarian views and is anti illegal immigration and so should we be. RP also is anti illegal immigration as he should be because there is absolutely NOTHING positive about it! Lou Dobbs is a hero in my opinion (although he is wrong on other issues)...
Tucker Carlson is also a hero and is a libertarian. I am shocked that some of you guys done like these people, so please tell me why. Maybe there are things I didnt know. Thanks for your input!

Those who point this out are right. During the primaries, everytime Dr Paul was on TV, word was out on DP, myspace, facebook, and all would tune in or, if they missed it, watch as soon as it was posted on youtube.
Lou Dobbs had Dr Paul on exactly once...and Dobbs didn't even host it. He lumped them all together, though Dr Paul has been clearly opposed to NAFTA, WTO, the Superhighway, etc. Totally ignored Dr Paul as if he wasn't even there.
Guys like Dobbs and Beck had plenty of opportunity when it mattered most and they came up short. (Remember Beck even supported the original bailout, ie TARP because he was led to believe the whole financial system was going to implode otherwise.)
