Oath Keepers Constitutional Care Package Drive Video
This is a drive to put Oath Keepers educational care packages into the hands of active duty military. This drive runs from Veterans Day, November 11, 2009, to Bill of Rights Day, December 15, 2009, honoring both those who served, and what they defended.
Tyranny cannot come to America if our military members refuse unconstitutional orders. We must remind them that their oath is to the Constitution, not to any politician or party; we must teach them about the Constitution they swore to defend; and we must steel their resolve to keep that oath.
If we reach enough of them, it is game over for any attempt to destroy this Republic. Whether we reach enough of them will depend on what you do.
Why This Mission is So Vital:
Like ripples in a pond, you never know what ultimate effect each care package will have. Even one could lead to a whole company or battalion being good-to-go on their oath. But the more packages we get out there the faster the message of the oath will go viral, spreading far and wide, which is exactly what the enemies of this Republic dont want (which tells you precisely what needs to happen!). Make no mistake, the enemies of our Republic do not want the brave men and women in our military to understand the Constitution, their oath, or their obligation to refuse unconstitutional and unlawful orders. Would-be tyrants prefer blind obedience. The Founders understood this, which is exactly why they made the oath to the Constitution, not to any man or office, and why they put the oath requirement right in the Constitution itself. The oath is like kryptonite to tyrants, as the Founders intended. The time has come for us to use it to its full effect.

just got this info from Oath Keepers -
"100 percent of the money donated to the OK4TROOPS project will go towards the Constitutional care packages. We plan to get as many packages in the hands of as many troops possible.
We have researched various options but there is no way to have a single fixed cost of a package. Shipping is the biggest expense somewhere between 11-13 bucks per package (however this is a very large package that can weigh up to 50lbs).
We think the actual content of the packages will cost around 7-12 dollars, with the patch being the unknown in this equation. If we have to ship one single package to a service member we are looking at 18-25. This is how we came up with the 20 per package.
We have various plans to get bulk numbers of packages to numerous troops with a single shipping charge which will drastically reduce our costs per package."

I just have one question.
It's a fantastic idea, but why so expensive? I expected to hear him say, "for twenty bucks we can send out 4 or 5 packages." I distribute educational materials all the time. I can create quality printed DVD's for less than 50 cents a piece, and the pocket constitutions can be had for even less than that in quantity. With those items, some other written materials, and postage, I would think you could squeeze out four packages for twenty dollars without much trouble. Where is all that money going?

That they want you to donate. This will give you an idea. They are not just going to have a Ripped DVD in the box....that is not a care package. These boxes will be full of useful stuff. Plus how much is it to send a box of stuff to Iraq?? Quit being cheap.
Maybe I misunderstood, but toward the
end of the video I thought he did say $20 sends 5 packages. Whatever it is, I am convinced from all he's doing that the guy is totally sincere and absolutely doing his best. If we each were doing as much as he is, this movement would be enormously stronger.
I thought this video was excellent, it covered the project thoroughly but simp[ly, with no bells and whistles, just straight to the heart.
