The beauty of this interview was that I turn CNBC on every morning after I get the kids off to school. So, I turned it on and there was RP! I didn't expect to see him on there. I can't believe they had him on as only a handful of people on there ever argue against big gov. They seem to have Schiff on a lot too.

Ditto on the email sent

Dr. Paul needs to have maximum air time to make his case.

Really good stuff!

The depth of Ron Paul's knowledge continues to amaze me.

I'm so glad he brought up the core of the problem: Fractional Reserve Banking...An immoral practice which has lead to EVERY financial crisis since it was begun centuries ago.

OF COURSE BANK RUNS ARE GOING TO BE PROBLEMATIC if people can't get their money which their bank says they have in safekeeping.

It ain't rocket science like the FED wants us to believe.

Moral banking is really A VERY SIMPLE CONCEPT...

In fact, we should pay the BANK to store our money safely (as we do a storage unit) but our money had better be there when we come to get it just like we expect of a storage unit holding our belongings.

I think the idea of all this credit has come back to bite us in the behind.

Bottom line: if you don't have the money to buy something, wait until you earn enough to do so.

The best interview I've seen him do in a while!

Imagine he could change Liesman's mind.

Carl and Joe certainly seem to be having their eyes opened.

I like it when he talks about solutions.

Some people just can't see his vision. Ok, I could use some help there too. But I totally trust him, and others need to understand his future to trust him.

2 Hours of Ron Paul on CNBC!!! OMG! That would be the best program ever! He could educate all the CNBCers on all freedom and limited government topics.

Ron Paul Rocks!

Liesman does not care about

Liesman does not care about the dollar and could care less about what Ron is saying. "Why should we care!" ...speaking of the dollar.

As much as it is need and I would enjoy it

that invitation was an unplanned off the cuff remark. I don't believe the PTB will ever let it happen!

The more you think it, the truer it becomes.

I don't mean "ignore the bad", but a thousand emails insisting this happen will not go unnoticed.

"You underestimate the character of man." | "So be off now, and set about it." | Up for a game?

That reminds me

of the miscommunication that took place in the East German media which caused the citizens to believe that they would be allowed to cross the border into West Germany. When long lines formed at the checkpoint it was difficult for the PTB to say "O, it was all a mistake. Please go home." The gatekeepers had to eventually let the people through the checkpoint when nobody would leave.

A loose parallel, I know, but nevertheless interesting.

I don't remember the title, but this past year, there was a video posted documenting the events leading up to the fall of the Berlin Wall.

played the video 47 times today to get the hits up

emailed squawk box earlier, just now got to where I can view the vid...

I love to hear Ron talk specifically about fractional reserve banking... it seems to me that it is not specifically the fed itself that is wrong, but it is fractional reserve banking that dramatically increases the money supply and is fruad in general.
"The War Prayer - Mark Twain"

The Fed gets the ball rolling by introducing new money, but fractional reserve banking multiplies that money approximately 9 times over, and in the process makes the banks technically insolvent. If 10% of the depositors want to remove their money from the bank at one time, the bank goes bust.

Due to the malinvestment that inevitably stems from the artificial introduction of new money, a correction WILL happen. The banks, owing depositors 9 times more than they have access to, are vulnerable to runs unless there is a "lender of last resort" that can send them money.

The Fed sends the banks new money so the banks can meet their obligations, and the cycle starts again.
