When the public

sees him for a full 2 hours, how can they not get blown away?

"Doing nothing is almost always an option and is very often the best option." Daniel Hannan

Napolitano: "We need Ron Paul now!"

why on earth does it take a

collapse to get this guy a fair shake? He should get more interviews with at least half as much respect as they gave him. They asked tough questions, but they weren't gotcha's because after RP gave the answer the interviewer at least respected his answer if not had the aha bulb go off. You get the traditional communist interviewing him and they ask the question thinking there is no way his answer can be anything but nonsense. You don't have to agree with guy but at least acknowledge he has a well thought out opinion and respect it.

overall I think these guys found him interesting for much of the same reason we do...he doesn't give you the same politically correct crap some would say he speaks the truth, but I never expect the msn to admit to that. he is just a novelty to them.

Ron actually gets lots of interviews...

...the problem is that these interviews don't get replayed every 30 minutes for the "computer challenged".

You will never see a replay of Dr. Paul unless he screws up or they can make him look like a screw-up.

On the other hand, if last place candidate Rudy Guiliani eats a cheese steak in Philly, he doesn't have to say a word. The media takes footage, adds their own positive commentary about the cheese steak, and replays the crappy report every 30 minutes on every major news channel for 3 days non-stop with syndication to every local affiliate for their lead story "Rudy eats a cheese steak".

It is a good thing Ron doesn't mess up often.

He is a very smart man, more than any public speaker I know. Even when he is being tag-teamed and ruthlessly insulted he just smiles and comes back with a series of intelligent punches that force his opponents (actors in journalism) to back off again and again.

i agree, it absolutely disgusts me

that they tarnish the image of the cheese steak like that.

Great segment

with the exception of Steve LIESman, who IMO was attempting to portray Dr. Paul as a "lunatic" to general viewers by the manner with which he questioned Dr. Paul about deposit insurance and a gold standard.

Awesome interview, thanks!

Do you all know that Ron

Do you all know that Ron Paul pops op first in Google if you just type Ron ? Might be different in the US, but over here (Europe) it happens.

This means that Ron Paul is the most googled Ron in the world!

Keep up the good work.

The end of that interview warmed my heart!

I dunno,

their behavior seemed pretty fake to me, like it was scripted or what they were getting on the teleprompter. But that could just be the skeptic in me.

it's not often that we get to see him enjoying some humor.

To turn Dr. Paul loose for two hours of uninterrupted dialogue at such a crucial time could be pivotal in our nations history, plus give CNBC ratings like its never seen before!

Too bad their corporate chiefs would never allow that, as they worship at the alter of those engraved-images (FRNs) that Paul so aptly decries as powerless to save those who trust in them.

I e-mailed...

I thanked the Squawk Box Crew for having the good Doctor on the show and requested that he appear again. More importantly, I told them that I would tell ALL of my friends and family to watch the 2-hour special.

An announcement regarding a 2-hour special with Dr. Paul would go viral on the internet. We should mention that, too...

Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness!

That was incredible. Dr. Paul was on fire---and funny with that ending of covering his mouth while saying, "I don't know if I can stand..." Make sure you email above. Find other ways of reaching them too.

That's what I'm talking about!

Ron Paul getting respect. We didn't see much of that last year. Now, you even have the CNBC guys clamoring for more time to interview Ron. I bet if they really did advertise Ron Paul for a 1 or 2 hour interview/meeting, it would be extremely well viewed, and it would be more like a classroom lecture than the typical political smokescreen of vague answers and pie in the sky bull. Every pointed question they threw at him, he disarmed very handily, and in a way people can understand. My favorite line, "How can we use the dollar as a measuring stick, when we can't even define what a dollar is?" It is becoming harder and harder for these guys to defend the Federal Reserve. Ron Paul's been preaching it for years, and guess what? He's right.......this is fraud at the highest level. Who wants to be on record defending fraud. (unfortunately, quite a few don't mind it at all!)

done...... Steve LIESman is

done...... Steve LIESman is a prick tho! I will love watching Ron Paul put him in his place.. LIESman is a big fed apologist.

Ron Paul is the smartest man

Ron Paul is the smartest man in the room where ever he goes. He knows Steve LIESMAN is a bitch boy for the FED. His last remark was the best. It sad the horse is out of the barn and now it is a matter of waiting for the collapse to come. Oh well we can always say we were the smartest guys in the bread line because we voted for RON PAUL in 2008.
The math says it is game over.

Steve Liesman

He is NBC's official too-big-to-fail and bail-out apologist. He possesses no knowledge of real economic history, which liberates him to manufacture his Keynesian perspective. Ron Paul could teach him a lot in two hours.

Please Thank Them

Please thank them for having Dr. Paul on and ask them to have the two hour special. It would be a tremendous opportunity to wake a lot of people up and introduce them to Dr. Paul before the 2012 Presidential race.

that was awesome. i almost fell out of my chair watching the end of that.

cnbc has become virtually unwatchable these days and it would be if not for guests like dr. paul. Joe

Great Job, Thanks!

Did you hear him right at the end... He said,,, "2 Hours, I don't know if I can stand you guys for...." He let them have it....basically calling them idiots in a joke. Classic.
