MSM: Chemtrails caused the Chinese Snowstorm
Calling al-Jazeera a mainstream media source is pushing it, I know, but I was very surprised to see this at all. Apparentally Chinese state media is confirming this as well!
"Scores die in China snowstorms
Scores of people have been killed in China due to heavy snows, some of which were artificially created.
The snowfall is the heaviest in the northern and central provinces of Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Shandong and Henan since record keeping began after the establishment of the Communist state in 1949, the ministry said.
It estimates economic losses from the storm of 4.5 billion yuan ($659m).
Chinese state media say some of the snow was induced through cloud seeding.
Hebei blizzards
Hebei's provincial capital, Shijiazhuang, received the heaviest snowfall. In the past three days, the snow accumulation there reached over half a metre, the heaviest since 1955, the China Meteorological Administration said.
More than 7.5 million people have been stranded or otherwise affected by the storms.
State media have reported at least two deaths were caused by the collapse of buildings, including a school cafeteria.
Beijing has been hit by three successive waves of snow, causing havoc on roads and forcing the cancellation or delay of scores of flights."

Now I normally don't follow chemtrails threads because I'm not entirely convinced by either side of that debate, but this is very telling...

I had never heard of cloud seeding before tonight.
After reading through your post, and the article it links to, I find myself somewhat taken aback. Wikipedia states numerous times that U.S. government participates in cloud seeding here at home, and in other country's.
I may not know to much about the subject but I do know for sure that I am not comfortable with the government flying over my town and dumping chemicals into the air. Who gave them the go ahead to do this? Was there some sort of vote among the citizens belonging to any town it is done over? Did the citizens of china give the o.k. on this before massive amounts of snow fell on various towns injuring people, and causing many transit issues? Is nothing sacred from the government, not even our atmosphere?
I suppose I will have to read more on the subject before I make any opinion on the matter set in stone, but at first glance it definitely doesn't sit well.

says what? I see that kind of disclaimer all the time. What does it mean? "I'm not one of THOSE people who believes this, so don't think ill of me, I'm just one of you, I don't deserve name calling like THOSE people, but I do think this is important. But after this, I'm going back to being skeptical so that you won't think I am one of THOSE people."
Either you know what you are posting or you don't, if you don't, don't post it. If you do, then rise to the occasion to have a little courage. You'll find when you find your courage that it actually fits.
Most people who are "skeptics" are really disinformation agents. They know what they are speaking against is actually true. People who honestly don't know, actually read with interest and keep their mouths shut until they figure it out. Find your courage and STAND TALL. Or, don't post false posts.

I added what I wrote at the end because I honestly wasn't sure what to think about chemtrails. One side presents their argument based on hearsay and speculation; the other is quick to dismiss everything as nutty paranoia. I honestly didn't know what to think...until now. To see a mainstream media article and a government news source speak so frankly about chemtrails and weather manipulation really changed my mind and perspective on the matter. I'm sorry if it was worded poorly and misinterpreted, but that was my intention behind those words.
However, that doesn't excuse you're poor and judgmental reaction. I'm a "disinformation agent" and making "false posts" because I'm a skeptic? Seriously? By your logic, that makes everyone on the Daily Paul a "disinformation agent" considering 99 percent of the threads here question the intentions of the government, politicians, and big business. So don't be so quick to judge, especially since we were all new to this at one point in our lives and wasn't sure who or what to believe.
Perhaps the saddest thing I found about your post is the implication that you must be on one side or another. It's the same asinine thinking that props up the two-party system in this country. "If you're not a Democrat, and then you're a Republican" and vice versa. No exceptions. "If you don't believe in chemtrails, then you're a disinformation agent". C'mon. You know (or at least should know if you've spent more than a few hours on the Daily Paul) that sort black-and-white thinking is false, and that there are moderates and people who don't fit in either camp. Don't perpetuate that destructive, polarizing attitude by accusing anyone who isn't on your "team" a "disinformation agent". That's the last thing this movement and country needs.
