When is Government just Organized Crime?
Government just loves to steal your property and money. Sounds more like Organized Crime.

The way Krista Vaughn sees it, Wayne County fined her $1,400 even though police and prosecutors admit she broke no laws.
Vaughn, who has no criminal record, was required to pay for the return of her car, which was seized by police after they mistook Vaughn's co-worker for a prostitute. Even though prosecutors later dropped the case, Vaughn still had to pay.
Her story is not unusual. In Wayne County, law enforcement officials regularly seize vehicles without levying charges -- even in cases in which they later concede no law was broken. The agency provides perhaps the most prolific and egregious example of what critics contend is the wrongful use of laws allowing the seizure of private property.
It's a practice that's paying off. The Wayne County Sheriff's Office, which helps run the prosecutor's forfeiture unit, took in $8.69 million from civil seizures in 2007, more than four times the amount collected in 2001. The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office gets up to 27 percent of that money.

Long, long ago there were people living in the valley. They worked hard and prospered by their own effort, They were very happy.
On the mountain top looking down on the valley lived a violent, lazy people who discovered they could live off the effort of others by swooping down on the valley people, killing them and stealing the product of their work.
The evil ones soon realized that by killing the valley people, there would be nothing to steal the next year. They also realized that taking it all would mean the valley people would starve, so they only stole a part.
Taxation was born!
The evil ones justified their theft by saying they were offering protection from others who would take it all. The theft (taxation) was for the good of the valley people. This was a protection racket.
The standing army was born and the police were born!
GOVERNMENT HAS ALWAYS BEEN ORGANIZED CRIME!

Without the armed marauders in costume with a flag other amed marauders could come and steal all of our stuff!
OK...I can't even pretend to believe in the statist religion anymore. It just doesn't work for me.
Government is force, and taxation is theft. Always has been, always will be. Someday perhaps the people who stil blieve in the most violent religion ever to curse this planet, statism, may come to see this.
