Does it look closed to you? Looks like it is in full swing to me.
I love how the soldiers claim humane treatment, which as we all know is a wonderful substitute for freedom, fair trials and being able to be with loved ones.
I also found it interesting how hard the guards have to work to keep the prisoners from killing themselves. That speaks volumes about what is really going on.

for those with interest in this topic. I have a friend whose neighbor just returned from duty as a guard in Gitmo. He said that several of the guards have been killed by the prisoners, and one was killed while he was there. He said this doesn't make it into the news, though maybe others here are more up on this and can verify the account. I would be interested in such verification.
