They are too vanilla, but we need to be less critical lest we become the Reason and CATO crowd, that was too "pure" to support Ron Paul.

Recall how powerful the fundraising was when it was decentralized? To have a centralized power structure in a Libertarian organization is at odds with itself.
We sure as hell don't need a John Tate machine to spread the message, teach others and hammer our representatives. We are doing quite well thank you.

totally disenchanted with C$L here in Nevada. I gave my whole effort & was not rewarded with any support from the mgmt. They did not agree with anything I was doing. My main focus was the State Central Committee & trying to get our team in the majority. The C$L superiors didn't see the merits of my efforts. Well, at the SCC mtg this last Sat, we made little headway. Not one of our people was elected, just some kind of okay people. Some see this as progress. I see it as disappointing because with the crummy C$L website, we should have been able to gather the troops these last months. I wanted every C$L members who became a SCC member to be able to have a photo op w/Ron at the LV C$L conference. The C$L thought I was crazy. They couldn't see that as an incentive to become a SCC member. Anyway, I haven't been active in C$L for months & have no intention of renewing my membership. I've cast my lot with Anger Is Brewing.

The same people who managed Ron in the election, & frustrated us with their lousy handling, are running C$L. It's really no wonder that things are what they are.
