Don't think Fedex wouldn't do the same thing
if they were in UPS's position.
As the video points out, the "real villain" is big government, not UPS.
The directors of a corporation have a responsibility to shareholders to use use whatever legal means available to maximize profit. It's government that has put UPS in that position by interfering with the market in the first place, by putting them at a competitive disadvantage. I don't think it makes much sense to blame them for trying to the government to treat their competitors the same way as them. Fedex would be doing the same thing. So I think a boycott is misguided. People are going to use the system to their advantage any way they can. That's rational from a self interest perspective. The solution is to change the system.

The problem is a government that heavily regulates and continuously changes the rules of the game destroys a free market and creates an unfair playing field. I don’t blame UPS for trying to get the same regulations slapped on their competition. It’s the free market that needs to be restored.
The Commerce Clause was not meant to restrain free trade, rather to ensure the free flow of goods and services among the states, Congress was given the power to regulate such commerce--to make it "regular".

You're right...FedEx might do it as well. However, they have not done it yet. If they did...I could just use the ol' US postal service....:D
I agree that the system needs to change though. Corporatism stinks.
