Bluementhal talks about the Sadomasochism that is the base of James Dobson movement and also about the famous C-street house that did cover ups for certain senators, governors.
This interview is great. Stick with it because it gets better as it goes on.

Worth the hour listen
Very troubling, especially regarding influence on foreign policy and, even scarier, the military hierarchy penetration. Yikes!
Religion
Religion almost always conforms to politics in the long-term.
When these Islamic countries are pissed about their occupiers, it tends to slowly creep into religious terminology about stopping the infidel and Jihad and so-on and so forth. So if we have neoconservative foreign policy, it's almost inevitable that it becomes religious eventually.
IMHO.
Btw- have you seen any of Blumethal's videos of him going to Hagee's conventions? Those are pretty funny too.

I used to support Dobson 10
I used to support Dobson 10 years ago or so.. when he refused to help Ron Paul I quite giving... Dobson is a moron.

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--
I wouldn't call him names (LOL!), but I began to be suspicious of him 20 years ago, and I regret using a wooden spoon on my child's hand (20 years ago)--
I felt I had to pull away; I realized that on some levels he may have meant well--
but when he was SO intent on Bush I became suspicious that he was more than just naive--
much more . . .
