He quotes "I can’t believe that anyone would complain about the removal of these mountain tops" nah, just the people that have had family there for 200 years. Perhaps he should talk to the multiple people that have lost children to childhood leukemia and are laughed at in the courts, as well as a before and after photos of the mountain areas pre-mining and post mining. If it was a matter of the employment of Kentucky and West Virginia residence then force Big Coal to hire 10 times more people and let them mine the hills the way we always have instead of destroying so many lives and the mountains along with them.

This is clearly a sell out and I for one do not like it one single bit as a day hanging out with the corporate mine PR personnel does nothing to change my mind about the communities of people that do not have safe drinking water in their wells any longer, and those forced to drink the water are sick and getting sicker. There has to be a better way, and I suggest Rand meet with the people that this is affecting instead of a one sided pro mining stance before he can expect any additional support from my direction. Had I known this was his stance I would not have donated any money to him, and now question how he can justify supporting the constitution while supporting the money men who are sending poison into wells in neighborhoods that were there 50-100 years before the first mountain top removal project, whose water out of the tap is almost solid black with petroleum and other toxic chemicals. Yet with massive amounts of illness and litigation, the courts seem to side with the corporation each and every time… sound familiar?

I would certainly like Rand to stand up for these people without a voice because they are poor; they deserve safe water on their property as much as the rich guys. I would like to see Rand do a 180 on this topic, and soon; while supporting more manual labor mining and less heavy equipment tearing at the earth or before long the mountains of West Virginia and Kentucky will be gone,and the mountains near you will be next. I hope this is not a glimpse of what Washington does to a good man, for it would be better to lose then to support the killing of American citizens for greed and power, and this is what I think most of us here are fighting against.

I may get blasted for speaking against him here, but I could give a damn. There are things more important than a seat in the house of ill repute. To stand alongside those that would take another's liberty, health, life blood, and freedom, and I for one am not so sure I can support that. So while Palin may be a neo-con, this might be a glimpse as to why Rand wants her campaigning for him, and could he be using the good doctors name to campaign as a semi liberty candidate and once in office we find his ideals are completely different than the good doctors? These questions need to be answered and soon, for I fear the author is correct in saying:
"Sorry Rand....you're not like your father." and the worse part is we are supporting this behavior financially, I hope Ron puts him across a knee before it is too late.

is she ignorant in what she says. Look how she says it. She can not even put a sentence together properly. Any body read her book? If it is written in her own words it would drive me nuts to read it.
I am not one of the grammar /spelling snobs here either. She just has strange sentence structure. Anybody else feel that way? Kind of like someone from Fargo that didn't get an education. Strange.
